Must the writers still have the characters introduce themselves to the readers? We're 13 issues in. We know who they are by now.

Even if a new reader was jumping on now they should have some expectation of having to catch up. I know when I pick up a later issue (for a crossover or something) I don't expect to know all the characters and if I'm curious, I'll head to comicvine.
