Death Mask was a nice take on Batman, though, in a more fantastic setting, with the Oni. I read and watch too much to list, but lately, I watched raws of the recently aired Lupin the 3rd vs Detective Conan TV Special (which won't likely be dubbed for a decade, due to Funimation's dub not even at the right episodes to air the first one, from 2000).

I read a few things frequently though, like Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (a nice Japanese parody/comedy manga with action thrown in humerously), and a few others. Trying to find the first English volumes of Saint Seiya, but they're out of print, so I'm hoping a reprint is in our future.

And, I do read Naruto (waits for the heckling to start), in both current jump issues I buy, and more closely caught up (mainly due to the fact that viz rapes the series with edits, and doesn't offer an uncut version, ironically, they do offer uncut anime episodes). Sounds not so respectful to comic form over animation, but whatever. : /

In regards to Manga, I keep tabs on Naruto and Bleach. In regards to anime, I'm watching Darker Than Black and again re-watching my favorite anime of all time, Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water:

I got started slightly before high school, but that was back in the early days when anything anime could only be found in the special interest section of Suncoast amidst the portn. Blockbuster, and the random stuff found on Scifi channel. Ever since I have tried to complete a collection of dedicated 80's anime. But there's a lot of early 90's stuff in between.

I stil read Naruto, too. It's so much better now then when he was a kid (I think if I hear "Believe it!" one more time, I'm going to scream). How far are you?

Don't read much Manga unless I'm at Borders...

Anime:

Dragonball(Z/GT) series
Case Closed/Detective Conan
Full Metal Alchemist(finally finished it this summer)
Bleach(when I can.....sometimes it just doesn't interest me)
Pokemon(lol, only the first couple of seasons. )
Cowboy Bebop(still have to finish that)
Inuyasha(I can't believe it ended...with no ending)

and some others, that I can't remember right now.

Seen all of those at some point or another, and I'm at the chapter Japan is on...<_< I'll pay for every volume for legal obligation, but I think that warrants me reading uncut, properly translated manga.

I'm so jealous that Case Closed is the longest running anime over there. It deserves to be the same here! I've seen every episode that has been been dubbed so far.

Several months ago, I discovered the greatest website for manga readers. www.onemanga.com Free weekly scans of translated and up-to-date chapters. They literally come out the day after they do in Japan. Not just Naruto, but a ton of others. Ok, enough of the commercial.

My absolute favorite series is Death Note (Both anime and the manga. They're both great.) I also liked Dragonball Z (this is how I got into anima but eventually got tired of it), Bleach (but seemed to follow same pattern as DBZ), and Full Metal Alchemist. Shin Chan was a bit of a guilty pleasure. I liked FLCL, but at times I was hopping I would figure it out.

Has anyone ever read Battle Royal? That series is frickin BRUTAL. They are not shy about gore, sex, violence, or nudity. I'm shocked that I even found it in public liabrary

Default I dont think you were ready for this...o///o

Hmm...Showcase my manga collection (since I am a collector @____@) LEMME GO GET THE LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you aren't daunted. I have been collecting for quite a few years now. Trust me, it's been a hardship rearranging the bookshelves to make them all fit in one area and still look..attractive. ^^

Okay so, I put all the complete sets first and then the working sets next and then the confusing ones last xD
If theres nothing next to their volume number it must mean I'm not collecting them anymore or something of the sort. =D Thanks for looking. ( I read all kinds by the way, so dont just stop at like the first one .____. )

Look further.. Im selling some..O_O

COMPLETE SETS
Absolute Boyfriend ~~ 1--6
Crescent Moon ~~ 1--6
Demon Diary ~~ 1--7
Eerie Queerie ~~ 1--4
.Hack//Legend of the Twilight ~~ 1--3
Full Metal Panic! ~~ 1--9 (I recommend this!)
Kodocha ~~ 1--10
Little Queen ~~ 1--4 (I think its complete o_o )
Punch! ~~ 1--3
Magic Knight Rayearth ~~ 1--3
MeruPuri ~~ 1--4 (The artist Matsuri Hina has some of the most gorgeous art I've ever seen.)
Tokyo Mew Mew ~~ 1--7 (Hehehe ^^
Tokyo MewMew A La Mode ~~ 1--2 (heh..)

WORKING SETS
Claymore ~~ 1--13
Crimson Hero ~~ 1--10
D.Gray-Man ~~ 1-11
Faeries' Landing ~~ 1-19 <3 <3 <3!!! Apparently there's only one more book to the series but, I dont see how that's possible since it's just not with the way the plot has been thickening unless the last book is bigger than the rest of the other books. Oo; Anyways, I highly recommend this series to others. I cosplayed the main character Fanta at Animazement for two years. I treasure the costume I have for her and still work to improve it for later years when I want to wear it again. I've only ever seen one other person cosplay Fanta. It's not so well known because it was never made into an anime and you know its not like about NINJA and stuff so it automatically cant be awesome and hit fandome like snow melting under sunlight. Whatever. Sometimes nonpopular manga is cool too. The art is beautiful. Go check it out. If you can't find it, I'll try to put up some scans for you all. Its not as girly as it might sound or appear.
(I'll put up my cosplay photos from 2 years ago too)
Red River ~~ 15--24 (Someday I'll have the beginning books)

Stale Sets ..Meaning I wont get any of the volumes any time soon Unless its Black Friday / Incredible Sale o_O But I still want themz
Angel Diary ~~ 3--5
Hot Gimmick ~~ 2--7
Sensual Phrase ~~ 6--11
Tramps Like Us ~~ 9--10 (I need the beginning)
Magic Knight Rayearth II ~~ 2 ( lol =_=" I need #1,3..I dont even know how I got number 2)
Million Tears ~~ 1 (I dont even know if there are any more volumes oO )
Moon Phase 1-7

Dead/Selling Sets
Love Hina ~~ 1--7
Ranma 1/2 ~~ 1--5
Girls Bravo ~~ 1--5 (Seriously...the anime version of this is in the Hentai section in the anime section in stores...o0; But I am selling the manga. WANT IT? ._. )
Psychic Academy ~~ 5,7,8,9,11

Singles Sets Is Contradictory =D
Chobits ~~ 4
D N Angel ~~ 7
Girl Got Game ~~ 3
Mars : Horse With No Name (Prequel To Series)
the Dreaming ~~ 1
Under the Glass Moon ~~ 1 (Dont buy. There's nothing that follows. -_- )
Wolf's Rain ~~ 1 ( Fan of both anime and manga. Saw the anime first. My friend bought me the manga and I really liked how they did it. So :] )
Yu-Gi-Oh! ~~ 1 ( Lol...Dont judge. It was my first manga I ever bought. xDD... Cuz it was the cheapest. 7.95 WOOOO SHONEN JUMP )

I hope people dont think Im rich..because Im not. Thats why I said Ive been collecting for several years which is very true. Manga is very expensive. Ive gotten a lot of it cheaply on eBay or amazon... But still.

I have comics too, but to be honest I was into manga before comics were really that big in my life.

I actually jumped over to manga when I decided comics were getting way too bad to even read anymore. But that was during the Marvel Spiderman clone thing, X-men Onslaught, Heroes Reborn Marvel Universe, it all pretty much sucked. So I found some Ranma 1/2 stuff started reading that, then Bio Booster armor Guyver, Battle Angel Alita, and Tenchi Universe. From there I got into anime since I wanted to see the animated versions of all those books.

I didn't start reading american comics again until slightly before Sin Corps war.

Great anime.

Also, they're working on releases as fast as possible now, West. Season 4 came out a while back, with eps 80-105. A fifth of the way caught up. I need to get that set. And, I'm a long time Dragon Ball fan. With Dragon Ball Kai coming out this next week, I'm pretty excited.
