Default Rian Johnson's "Knives Out"

+ YouTube Video

So this is a thing that's coming out soon, following on the heels of "Murder on the Orient Express."

Also, it seems like Rian Johnson may be doubling down on the... eh, thought process behind "The Last Jedi":

The Indiewire review calls The Last Jedi "the best Star Wars film ever made".

Wow. I mean, I don't even hate TLJ, but that seems like a ludicrous statement by any measure.

I love Rian's non-Star-Wars work (Brothers Bloom is one of my favorite movies, Brick and Looper are great) and liked Last Jedi (although I do admit that it's far from flawless). In my SW ranking, Last Jedi comes in at the #5 spot.

The cast of Knives Out is amazing, and I've always loved Whodunnits. I'll watch this movie first chance I get. Which, according to its German release date, will be in January.

I love whodunnits too, but I am already hearing people celebrating this as another "rich white people suck" movie. I pretty much rolled my eyes and moved on.
The only thing I can't take away from Johnson is that he directed some of the best Breaking Bad episodes of all time. For that I will always be thankful. Other than that I am done with the guy.
