While Christmas shopping the other day, I took advantage of FYE's holiday stuff to fill some missing spots in my collections (the other movie was just on sale):

However, I looked all day for the new BD release of Silent Night Deadly Night 2 to no avail and finally decided to Amazon it so I have a shot of getting it before Christmas:

[EDIT:]

Rifftrax was having a sale where most of their Christmas DVDs are $5, shipping is free, and any disc purchase includes the blu-ray of Plan 9 free (which is cool because I really want to have a BD copy of P9), so I got (for $25 total; which is supposedly $38 off). Unfortunately, I got notice that these won't be arriving til 12/27 (ugh):

The town over had their library sale.
[the upright books are Pathfinder and two volumes of Ben Jonson]

Also, my folks pointed me to a vintage toy shop (about half an hour from home as it turns out).

Even though I hadn't seen Bohemian Rhapsody, I was pretty sure I'd like it and the BD/DVD set was pretty cheap between a sale and coupon at B&N:

After seven years of searching on and off, I finally found (in eBay from SC last week) this Fire-Fighter Jet Jaguar, which was made as a magazine-exclusive from Bandai in 1997 and now completes my set with the Medical Jet Jaguar.

Very cool. I never thought of looking for that soundtrack, but I do recall it being pretty good (forgot it was Williams).

If you ever purchase it, be prepared to spend between $35-$40 on it.

William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale (Folger Library)

While I can read Shakespeare in one of my collected volumes and would get most of it, I find these Folger editions helpful to learn the background and get dated references or words that mean something different than they did then. Plus they have histories and critical readings.
