Seems a bit of overkill, unless there is a compelling reason to have that many to round out the theme. But that's just my opinion.

As an aside, I'm glad I'm not the only person that remembers Automan. I watched that show as a kid, and had fond memories, but nobody ever knew what I was talking about (it didn't help that I couldn't remember the show's name until pretty recently).

I've no idea if it was actually good, of course. All kinds of stuff I have fond childhood memories of turns out to be crap on rewatching.
