I'll be tuned into the CW on January 19. I'm kind of surprise we're getting a Suicide Squad trailer so soon. I thought they would hold off until March and have it attached to the BvS flick.

Chris Pine talks 'Wonder Woman,' 'Finest Hours'
He’s playing Steve Trevor, the military man and love interest who finds himself in the position of being saved by our Amazon-princess heroine. Pine also confirmed that, though Wonder Woman was first introduced as a World War II era superheroine, this one is set in the First World War.

“Steve Trevor is a rogue-ish, cynical realist who’s seen the awful brutish nature of modern civilization,” Pine said. “He’s a worldly guy, a charming guy and it’s going to be a great, fun film. There are some incredibly deep, interesting and morally relevant themes.

“Patty is just directing the daylights out of it. It’s shot beautifully feels so wonderfully period, but also has this wonderful pop sensibility.”

As for the Great War setting, he said, “it’s a period we don’t see often; it’s usually World War II. Our costume design is incredible. We have scenes with, like, 500 extras all in period dress. I’d never been on a film with extras casting as beautifully done as it is here.

“It highlights a really important point. When background casting is done well, it can make or break a scene. I’ve got people in deep background that have entire lives. It’s awesome, it’s actual make-believe land.”

Being set in World War I, Chris Pine would be Steve Trevor's Great Grandfather as oppose to grandfather.

I said this before, Wonder Woman is setting up to the Steve Rogers of the Extended DCU and Steve Trevor is the Peggy Carter. Hopefully it will be as good.

            ‘Wonder Woman’ Casts Superhero’s Mother
Rumors had recently circulated about Wright’s role being rewritten to Hippolyta, but the studio kept Wright on as Diana’s aunt and cast Nielsen instead as her mother.

Looks impressive, although the lack of dialogue Gadot has gotten, worries me a little. Still, the film looks great otherwise.

Considering they're still actively filming I'm not worried.

I got a definite Legend of Zelda vibe from the footage.

Yeah, I'm not worried either, but I want to see what the Snyder saw when he cast Gal Gadot for the role.

Gal definitely looks the part and she has put on some muscle since the Fast and Furious 6 flick.

I don't have high expectations for the film, but I'm looking forward too it and like everything I've been seeing so far.
