Exclamation eBay GL Item of the Week!

This week's cool Green Lantern item found on eBay:

Sinestro Corps Plexiglass Advertising Sign

I suspect this is a fan made sign, as opposed to official marketing material from DC, as DC's official POP displays are usually made of paper or cardboard. Still cool, though.

No problem. Right now, I'm actively on the hunt for a few GL collectibles I want for my collection, so I'm making daily checks on eBay for all the newest stuff that's been listed.

I just hope one of our board members gives that sign a good home, since it's not really something I want for my collection.

Thumbs up Honorable Mention

Oh yeah, before I forget...

Honorable Mention: Kryptonite Brand Green Lantern Combination Padlock

It's been many years since I needed to use a padlock for anything. Would've been cool if they'd had these back when I was in school!

Yeah, but again, it's been years since I've had a locker that I'd use it on.

Cool Honorable Mention # 2...

Another Honorable Mention:

Green Lantern Restaurant Fayetteville, NC Postcard

Considering that postcard looks to be at least 50 years old, I wonder if that restaurant still exists? How cool would it be to own and operate that place?! If I owned that restaurant, I'd work out the copyright and trademark issues with DC, and I'd turn the interior into a replica of the Lantern Lounge from Warriors!

There are a TON of Green Lantern Inns, Taverns, Resturants

Theres one in Toledo Oh I was going to go but it turns out it is in the worst part of Toledo

also I found some one stole my license plate idea (I dont know if its true in all states but in Ohio you can for an extra fee make your plate say what ever you want) I was going to go with "GL2814" but some one in Toledo already has it

Exclamation Updates...

Turns out that the Sinestro Corps Sign did NOT sell. It's now been relisted with lower pricing ($25.00 Starting Bid, $50.00 Buy It Now).

New auction is HERE.

Also, another cool item I found today: a "Vintage" Menu from the Green Lantern Inn in Palacios, Texas!

Lots of cool GL memorabilia's been going up on eBay lately!

I've seen those before once or twice, they're the old Glow-in-the-Dark rings from when Mosaic # 1 came out... but you'll notice that somewhere along the way, someone managed to lose the GITD disc in the center.

Exclamation First Sinestro Corps Ring!

Yeah, well, it's not half as interesting as this!

The Sinestro Corps Class Ring!

Alas, these people only ever make their rings out of sterling silver. If only they were smart enough to make this in 10K or 14K GOLD, I might actually have bought one... after one little change (I'd want it to say "Sinestro Corps" on the engraved ring surrounding the stone.) But since they made it out of silver, I won't be buying it.

But the best find of the week so far is this:

She Told Me It Was Either Green Lantern or Her Bumper Sticker!

Too funny!

Have at it!

As you can now see below, I've found my own way to make use of it!

Didn't you know? That's Kyle's "Wash Day" costume! He wears it when all his other costumes are at the dry cleaner's!

--Dan (who thinks there's only one possible explanation for Kyle changing costumes so often: He's secretly GAY! )
