Guy obviously made a fabric version of his uniform at some point.

Why is it that these "previews" are usually better than the rest of the comic? I mean, great start, and then the story degrades right after page #6 or so.

And you can see the parallels here without a microscope: parts of Mogo are caged, keeping them separated from themselves, and John's compartmentalized his actions as GL from the repercussions, refusing to deal with them. John's dangerously close to "actions without consequences" if he continues on that path.

Elsewhere, John Stewart has an awkward conversation with Fatality, who tells John that half of Mogo is female and half is male. She says the piece of Mogo she is now tethered to is searching for Mogo's core. They follow the piece wherever it goes....

Meanwhile, Salaak has planted a camera on the Guardians to peek in on their doings inside their Citadel. He finds out about The Third Army, but the Guardians find out about his camera and proceed to trap him in some kind of tomb.

Sounds like a remake of Guy Gardner reborn.

I saw that part in the previews. Mogo being both Male and Female is a huge WTF? though.

Sounds interesting. I wonder how long it will take for the others to notice Salaak is missing.

Thanks W.West.

SPOILERS

No surprise that Guy has trouble getting back to his life on Earth like Hal would, in his case there's a douche father he needs to handle. (what's up with all these daddy syndrome of our Earth Lanterns?)

Salakk should've been more careful with his data mining, although I suspect he has the information stored up somewhere. Guardians could've killed Salakk, guess the writer intend to keep him alive. (that's a huge nannite camera)

I thought the issue was okay. I liked that they had Guy once more try to be a hero even without his ring. This is the third time he's lost it and all three times he doesn't let it stop him.

Can't believe his old man isn't proud of him for being a space cop. Well, I guess he's just a bastard, then.

Didn't like Mogo being "half male, half female". WTF? Can't he just be neither? He's a PLANET for crying out loud. Guy planets and girl planets don't need to get together to make little baby planets, do they? Silly justification for shoehorning Fatality into the plot when she could just be drawn to Mogo's splintered heart.

But, if these really ARE shards of Mogo, what happened to all those parts of him they dumped into the sun? I know this is the New 52 where continuity doesn't matter, but they could easily have BSed an explanation. Something like "we gave Mogo a burial in Oa's sun, but a whole lot more of him was spread out in space. I'm glad we didn't get all of the big guy."

Still, griping aside, I liked this issue.

because that way, we'll end up with a Mogo that resembles the Death Star more than a planet. lol

Another disappointing issue. None of the GL titles are any good right now. Very depressing.

This issue felt like Green Lantern #1 just with Guy in the place of Hal. They both ended up arrested. I liked the John and Salakk parts.

An okay issue of GLC. Liked the art and part of the story. It kind of fell apart when GUy made the feeble attempt as a ringless vigilante. Okay, maybe feeble is the wrong word; Guy showed some ridiculously serious Batman detective skills by stumbling onto a terrorist plot within a few hours, when law enforement was working on it for years. WTF? Even in comic books...WTF?!?

Still, the rest of the issue was fine. And sadly, a fine issue of GLC is still ten times better than ANY issue of GL.

I totally second that. The GL books are the only dc books left which I subcribed after trying out some of the new 52 titles. If this awful storywriting happens to a be a permanent state I'm going to drop them too. I don't want to spend my hard earned money for boring crap.

Yes, and the John Stewart parts are as short and the appearances are as brief as they were when he was tagging along Hal in the Green Lantern vol. 4

Agreed. I think Tomasi has an anti-John Stewart clause in his contract

this issue once more proves the dedication of guy gardner for fighting crime wherever it is. Yes he did bad but the fact is that he still tries... He somehow feels that it's the right thing to do and he accepts his fate. and the only reason is because he don't know the he's been set up. He believe so mutch in the corps that he would never think that it was all made up for him to fall. When he don't understand's he move on. that quite a good value from my point of view

I hate the thought of abandoning any GL title, but as of right now, I am about to jump of of GL corps, and the RL books, still have faith in main GL and NGs, I am always a geoff johns fan, and a big tony bedard fan also. I hope GL corps can turn it around! Issue 15 was not in any case a "good" read
