Phyllis George, who used her celebrity status as Miss America 1971 and her pioneering experience for women in sportscasting to help John Y. Brown Jr. win Kentucky’s 1979 race for governor, died Thursday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center of a blood disorder, the former governor said Saturday.

She was 70.
I'm not a fan of women yapping about men's sports, and I wish that trend had never gotten any traction, but R.I.P. to her.

Eddie Haskell was one of the greatest characters of sitcoms. Anyone who thinks Sheldon Cooper was a great character needs to watch Eddie in action.
