No you don't. If it were weekly, Morrison would have to share scripting duties like he did on 52. I'm sure you'd rather have an all-Grant book.

I'm really looking forward to that issue!

Three in a row really appeal to me: the JSAesque issue, the Charlton one, and the Fawcett one. I liked the 1st issue well enough too, so I'll most likely get them all.

I read this on my phone on my commute to work this morning. Enjoyed it, I'm probably going to say this for every one-shot we get but I'd read an ongoing set in that world.

I got a kick out of quoting this post...from April 30th, 2009.

I enjoyed the action but it was still a bit of a letdown issue. Even Sprouse's art wasn't as crisp as I expected it to be. Unlike Hypo, I don't think I'd be interested in furthering the adventures of the S.O.S.

Dang. I forgot this today. I had a small list and must've breezed right past it at the LCS.

I wasn't too impressed with this issue, sadly. It lacked the scale and epic scope of the last one, and there was way too much backstory we didn't get to see that made it seem flat.

Back story on who? I wouldn't want more of this. It was already a drag to get through and that might be like you said, because of the lowered scale. Even though its the same premise that has me thrilled over on the Avengers/New Avengers books right now. Crammed into one issue, just not a good idea. Or at least not executed well enough.

Damn! I just got home and haven't read it yet, but it sounds like a letdown. I've been going to the comic shop once a month or so because I've been so disengaged from the hobby, but I made a special point of going today when I only had GLC and GL:NG Futures End oneshots other than this Multiversity issue. I liked the last one enough to go when I really didn't have to be there for a few more weeks.

Off to read it now...

Was near my LCS today so I stopped in just to pick this up (and talk Doctor Who with the manager). Will report back.

Oh well, I hope the next one is better.

I had high hopes that Multiversity: The Just would be one of the best comics of the year, but my hopes were dashed, murdered and stuffed down the drain when I found out Ben Oliver was on art. The guy is not good at storytelling and anything that requires background quickly becomes a generic color.

Maybe he'll surprise me. Maybe he's a much better artist than he was on Batwing. I feel like he did an issue of Action Comics with Grant that was pretty good.

So was I really the only person who enjoyed Society of Super Heroes?

I thought it was enjoyable. Not Morrison's best, but not his worst either.

I enjoyed it. Thought it was a fun story. Doc Fate as a kind of mix between Doc Savage, Dr Fate, and a dash of Superman was cool. I liked the art. The tower of Fate being a skyscraper is very Doc Savage-ish.

I think people were expecting every issue to have these out there, mind blowing concepts and strange events. This definitely wasn't Morrison's Doom Patrol, but I thought it was pretty good. I'm very much looking forward to the Charlton and Fawcett issues.

I think everyone is dying to see that Quitely issue. This series will be remembered for that issue (and its delays).
