Like. Like. Like. Knew I should have recognized it.

Yeah that Alex Ross Barry figure never stands right. I still have him laying down because I'm sick of dealing with him.

Dave, great collection. Makes mine look pathetic. Thank you for posting. As soon as I get my room set up, I will post pics.

Why not paint and assemble The Thing from Another World model?

I did BETTER. I bought a SECOND Bilikin model that was already assembled and painted and has a custom base. It's absolutely gorgeous. And I still have the first one unassembled with the box and instructions in mint condition. I didn't have the heart to do anything to it. The pictures are just older and don't show some changes I've made to the shrines.

And I finally tracked down a copy of the pulp science magazine the Thing debuted in. Astounding Science Fiction August 1938 has the original publishing of John Campbell's "Who Goes There?". Took me years to find. Ebay never had it. I finally found it from a dealer in Canada. Who Goes There isn't the cover feature and Campbell wrote it under a pen name so I don't think the dealer knew it had any historical significance. He only charged me 20 bucks for it!
