ESPN's 30 for 30 series is so good, you guys. My Netflix's 'recently played' queue is just a line of their documentaries.

Word. Still a good flick, though. I liked that holo deck scene at Crystal Lake with the two 80's chicks. Lol

youd think with that scene they couldve used a hologram of jasons mom to distract him

Hmm, that thought never crossed my mind, but yeah, that was an idea. The beginning was cool, too, in the holding cell.

Shit. Now I want to watch it again, but I was planning on Hellraiser 2. SUch choices!

i would rate it a 5 out of 10 and it would have been more interesting if they went with that hologram idea plus have the murders take place on solaris wich is like a city in space

the other nitpick i have is how the head guy is a professor and yet knew ziltch on the crystal lake murders. youd think someone with that sort of profession would know of such thing

When I first saw Jason X I hated it. I thought it was way too goofy and off-tone for Jason, but I've come to just not take it that seriously and have much more fun with it.

Yeah, but that wouldn't have been as funny. In CLM they talk about how that was a last minute addition when the studio wanted more kills and the director wanted an added joke.

Plus the kid who does it may not have had that much data about the Vorhees (the campers can be generic, but Pamela Vorhees would have to look like her to work).

Blazing Saddles (1974)

"Oooh baby, you are so talented...and they are so dumb!"

After the last seven days being truly horrible, I needed something completely careless to take my mind off things. This film is still solid gold.

Insurgent

I thought this film was okay, probably because I didn't recall alot of key points from the previous film, so I was a bit confused and a little lost. I thought the story was somewhat predictable, but it kept me entertained overall.

2.5/5

The Theory of Everything

Stephen Hawking has a beautiful mind, as despite his illness he continue to maintain his sense of humor and live an amazing life. His wife, Jane, was also a quite remarkable woman.

This was an enjoyable bio-pic.

Eh. The Penguins have had some of my favorite bits in the Madagascar movies I've seen, but stretching them out to a full movie may not have been the best idea. There certainly were several points when I laughed out loud, but the plot was weak.

Plus he's a Trekkie and a Simpsons fan.

Yeah and he left her for another woman (whom he has also since divorced).

John Wick - This was fairly entertaining, but really violent... and the ending made very little sense.

Yup, in the movie it notes that he left his wife for another woman but it wasn't a bad break up. The movie made Hawkins leaving his wife a situation where they both benefited from it.

Nice on both counts. It seems lately that every time you watch a movie, Tazz, I want to watch it the next day. haha

Get Hard - It was pretty funny even though the reviews say otherwise.

However, it did ruin Alison Brie for me. The scenes she had with Ferrell were awful!
