Especially Krona. He's got more lives than Hank Henshaw.

Since it sounds like there's something of a long-term-but-temporary moratorium on using old villains and storylines for a while at Dc, probably two years.

I'd say gave it a few years, by then the writers will be really desperate for any good story lines that they'll resort to resurrecting a few villains just to get some storylines going (good or bad).

Did anyone else think they were already giving a hint of his resurrection when Atrocitus comments on how unusual it was that Krona's corpse bled?

Considering that they never even bothered to explain how Krona escaped from his Worldsoul prison in Earth-1 prior to WotGLs, he's probably alive again already.

I think fooling the Guardians into thinking that Hal killed him was part of Krona's plan all along. I honestly don't think he's really dead. Maybe he's playing possum. The whole War of the Lanterns planted seeds of fear and doubt in the Guardian's minds. Hopefully, Ganthet will be able to shake free from whatever the Guardians did to him too.

I thought they were foreshadowing his return when Atrocitus was pondering how he was robbed of killing Krona himself. When they did the bit about the corpse bleeding they were practically hitting us over the head with it. Granted, the bleeding can also be used for Atrocitus' prophecies in the meantime, but they've already planted the seeds for Krona's return.

or what if kronas plan was to break the guardians?

what if this "" tragedy of kronas killing"" is what breaks the guardians up?

he waged a war to basicly destroy them and what better way to do that is toi nstall great fear into a group that is believed to be imortal?

i mean hey they allowed sinestro to become a gl again knowing what he has done in the past

I did find it odd that the corpse was able to still bleed

Krona appearing to be dead at the hands of Hal must be a part of his master plan. He got rid of his biggest threat in Hal and masterminded Sinestro, the GLC's greatest enemy to take his place. There's got to be something to that... although Krona probably didn't account for Ganthet handing over his body and Atrocitus reaching in and tearing his yellow guts out.

I think Krona put himself in some kind of stasis and will resurrect himself later down the road when the GLC is in turmoil.

This could be a good story if done well. The way to do it would be that the Corps DOES get rid of the Guardians, and Krona returns as a menace just when they need them the most. The story could be played that both the Guardians and the Corps NEED each other, and Krona would be the instrument to prove this.

aren't there just enough Guardian's left to have one for each corps? Maybe Krona is trying to place them all at odds like that. One Guardian leading each corps in another War of Light? With Krona at it's head reaping the benefits.

And he's letting Atrocitous play with his insides and make offerings to the Universe with his blood just for FUN!

question: can't atrocitous put a red lantern ring on krona's dead body and wield it like a puppet?
