I think they should bring Nite-Lik into the series. he was given a toy but has yet to be seen in the comics.

I also think it might be interesting to see a few Red Lanterns come across something in space that gives them some form of control back. Ability to speak and the option to think about an attack rather than just spewing blood everywhere.

I agree.
They should be able to speak "clearly" or something like that.. the rage could be manifested, something similar to Wolverine's Beserk Rage!

Nite-Lik debuted in the Red Lanterns #1 DCnU book.

What about the two guys who were featured in issue 1? Couldn't they be setting up for one of them to be a Red?

Yah, I mentioned this on pg. 1 - I didn't even notice him at first, but he's in the last frame of the issue, in the right corner I think, behind Bleez.
Never been drawn before, his whole body isn't in frame but his head is unmistakable.

The Four Horsemen's character design was raging awesome. This elf on Issue 2? I'm concerned about...

I'm a huge fan of the character design, so I was looking for him in issue one just in case. I'm still surprised they debuted him so early, he hasn't done anything but appears so at this point he's a canon beast...

Well i will definately have to check it out. I waited until the graphic novels came out to read Blackest Night but I might opt to read the individual comics this time.

I'm glad he is in the series also because he looks like he would be a stone cold killer. But I fail to see how the Reds could really have a comic that would keep your attention. Atrocitus is the only one who even talks. The rest just spew napalm plasma and kill. If all the comic series is going to do is give backstories on each member I think it would be rather lame.

+1 on a Human RL. It's easier for readers to relate and given events on Earth there would be a lot of topics to write about, topics closely connected with us on Earth instead of some alien tragedy. Justice being done on the other side of the galaxy is nice, it's even sweeter if people see justice completed here on Earth. It also sets up conflicts with other heroes on Earth.

Ditto on Nite-Lik. Wearing the bones of his victims is a huge individual character trait. Almost like his past kills are motivators.
I'd also imagine that his "palm tongues" might actually be Constructs instead of physical appendages.

Anyway, Atrocitus has decided, as of issue #2, to have a Right-Hand Man (or woman) to help him make well-thought-out plans in the future.
Issue #3 is supposed to reveal which one. Vice was a rather horrifying, fast-as-hell killing-machine, but the decision to make an intelligent #2 is brilliant. I'm excited. I know it couldn't be Nite-Lik, but at least we'll get some really new developments for the Crimson Corps...

Yeah I read up a bit and I know about him increasing the intelligence of one member. I doubt it will be Vice seeing as how he does his job quite well as is. My guess would be either Bleez or Skallox. Bleez would bring a female's voice into the picture and Skallox just seems like a more likely candidate than anyone else. Of course it could be someone we have not seen before.

What about that bounty hunter guy that rides a motorcycle? I forgot his name. But didn't Atrocitus give him a ring as payment for faking going after him in order to get Hal, Carol and Sinestro on his side?

Lobo? I'd rather not have him play a role in the corps, even if he has a ring.

Oh if he was talking about Lobo I agree. I think he is a stupid character.
