^The third one is good; probably a character designer.

All four follow-up special editions to be released over the six months following the vanilla edition's street date.

Pretty much. Seems weak, but then again, the first thought I had was that the grenade would miss the hole or not fit and then kill the thrower. I doubt very many people would risk such a gamble.

^Yeah, I would probably risk it in a COD game (if I was in the mood), but it would backfire every time. One person in the comments noted that in older games that hole would just be design and not an actual opening, which is good example of how much computing power has improved (especially in terms of spatial relations).

2) It looks like Joel, being a borderline-genocidal asshole as per the first game's ending, hasn't told Ellie the truth, and therefore she's likely murdering every Firefly out of a twisted sense of revenge, all borne purely from Joel's selfishness.

3) I won't play it. Ever.

Because after being so heavily exposed to the first one via my father's endless playing of it and his endless talking about it, I have seen and heard enough to decide that, while the quality is nothing short of superb, I don't find it appealing to me.

Story was great in Part I, but after seeing multiple runs my dad made, and after watching numerous matches in competitive, I find that I'd be playing a story about characters that, although excellently written, I feel no personal attachment to and that I would be playing a competitive I know I would utterly hate.

That's how I feel about the first one, and I see absolutely no chance of feeling any different about the sequel.

Make no mistake, Naughty Dog poured their heart and soul into this franchise, and it has massively paid off and I am very glad to see the company's commitment to quality and that such efforts are being appreciated duly...but I have seen and heard enough of The Last of Us that if I got into it, it would just feel like I'm going through the motions and nothing but.

Someone else will give them the money and love they no doubt much deserve all over again.

Just cracked open Shadows of Mordor and been having a blast with this game. It plays just like the Batman: Arkham games with nearly identical controls. The difference is, you can brutalize your enemies (unless they're bosses) with devastating kill moves; it's almost like being able to perform a fatality on everyone. The decapitations are amazing in this game!
