  • alan scott on GL cartoon.

well, at least in a mention.

did you all catch the Alan Scott mention on GL cartoon from 2 weeks ago?

i would love to see him on the show, or better yet a pre-52 JSA cartoon.

    hey, a boy can dream can't i?

I wouldn't mind a pre-52 JSA animated movie. I think hoping for that is entirely within the realms of possibility.

An interview mentioned that they'd like to have pre-52 Alan Scott int he cartoon one day. I hope they manage it.

The closest thing I've seen was the Green Guardsman in the Justice Guild on the JLU animated series.

It was actually season 1, pre-JLU (we abridged it here. Our own Martini Master AndrewNDB played the Guardsman!)

I could digg a Alan Scott animated movie that takes place in the 40's,and is done in a serial style.Much Like Captain Marvel or Flash Gordon Conquers the universe.

Fuck the 40s. Fuck anything that ain't modern or the future. If you want to do historical go with something that is actually interesting not the lame depression recovery era.

I will agree to disagree. I am tired of people always trying to adapt things. Alan in all his purple cape glory,In my opinion works better in the past. I don't want to see Alan Re imagined. I would like to see the real thing. Not some watered down hollywood made for tv by some Jagoff director that thinks his vision is what people are paying to see, verson of the character.

Hal was not allowed to have his white gloves in the Movie, could you imagine all the liberties they would take with Alan?

Doesn't mean you have to use a garbage era to tell his story. Plenty of stories showed Alan outside of the 40s or some other garbage era.
