Doubt it's that big of a deal, he's been doing more indie work as of late.

Yo.

that theres ppl who'd have such a problem w/his style of art that they'd feel the need to re-draw them to "look more realistic".........

I disagree with that sentiment, it's a valid form of critique in my opinion, and it's not like its restricted to just this guy, people do it all the time especially when characters get new costumes.

And it's not like they were harassing him, they were posting shit to tumblr.

the complaints/re-draws aimed at overly long necks or mis-shappen physiques I get, but there were *also* the critiques which were aimed towards the whole attractiveness-angle, and thats what I find to be lame.

this is why its lame on *his* end as it doesnt look like he was being pestered to change his art style, so theres really no need for him to pull such a stunt JUST to stop ppl being critical of it. obtaining a court order & having Tumblr yank their posts just to stop critiques of old, published works makes him look like a huge pussy IMNSHO.

if anything, I give them credit for keeping it to themselves (for the most part).

Did anyone else buy IDW's Little Nemo: Return to Slumberland #1 last week? I picked it up and just read it today. Absolutely loved it. Eric Shanower (Oz comics) writing and Gabriel Rodriguez (of Locke & Key fame) on art. Four part mini series that appears to be bimonthly.

If you like something with a little whimsy, fun, and that you could read to your kids, give Little Nemo a try.

I am and just like anything Morrison does, I am enthralled by it. Plus some Frazier Iriving art is also oh so nice.

Not sure how I feel about that.

On the one hand, actually getting 007 comics is cool.

On the other, Fleming gave us a very specific, but limited origin. The more you learn about Bond's past the more it demystifies him.
