I feel both old and way too informed knowing about that very character, having actually watched an episode once.

^Again, though, a long a fruitful career. You can't complain about a near-century lifespan and work that educated a generation.

Yeah, he had a long career. Big fan of a lot of the songs he was involved with, particularly the School House Rock ones. "Conjuction Juction, what's your function?"

I envy that couple. That's kind of how I would choose to go.

Yeah, hard to beat living to a ripe old age alongside your spouse of 70+ years, then dying of natural causes within hours of each other.

He was 81 and had been suffering from numerous ailments over the past several years, although he had continued to make the festival rounds.

She deserved that Oscar. For a four hour movie, LoA has a great pace and there's some really fun cuts like the famous match to the desert sun.

Man, so much of the talent from that film (one of my top 5 favorites ever) are gone now.

That is sad. I know she had a lot of struggles.

She was definitely my Lois.

I watched Superman recently. Maybe, I'll watch Amityville again or something.

Her battle with mental illness and subsequent charity work is well worth mentioning.

Everyone will say Lois this, Lois that, and she's great in that part, but I want to give special mention to her part in DePalma's sisters. Such a great role for a good thriller. I also like The Amityille Horror. Chilling stuff. This is such sad news. I've had Williams's concert love theme arrangment on repeat for a while now. RIP!!!

Honestly, if I owned a copy that would be what I watch tonight; haven't seen it in years, but really liked it.

It's a solid Hitchcockian thriller, with a great Herrmann score. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, De Palma developed some of his signature style there too.
