Just because their physical bodies are destroyed that who the Controllers are, won't be consumed like the others have been by the Orange Light of Avarice. To quote the Mummy: "Death is only the beginning."

After reviewing the thread heres what I'm gonna geuss...

Controllers are "cuzins" to the Gaurdians. They have the potential but never relized it like the Gaurdians. Gaurdians have spent the evolution with the green light improving themsleves and so forth..the controlers never did that and they instead, while still imortal did not evolve the same way...

As for Agent Orange I say whoever finds the Battery gets there souls and such absorbed into it under Agent Orange control. Reading on Tans notes of the characters they have personalities and thoughts yet they do seem to be constructs. So they prob are self aware but have to serve Agent O.

I've been rereading Larfleeze's inner monologue and it's amusing in a way. Even with the Gollum-esque elements, I'm not hearing Andy Serkiss' portrayal of Smeagol in my head. The voice I keep putting to the words is Stephen Colbert's portrayal of Myron Reducto from Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law. It's the pacing of the words and the stream of consciousness-esque elements that keep reminding me of Reducto.

Very close. Controllers

The Controllers are to the Guardians what the Romulans are to the Vulcans... same race, slightly different histories that differentiated them a bit as the years passed.

Decent issue. The art was pretty good. Larfleeze is UGLY. Hal is definitely still Hybrid during this issue, and demands to see Ganthet. That was a great scene. But that was generally it for me. It didn't wow me. The art is what kept me in it. Next issue we're promised GLC vs OLC so let's hope thats much better. Average issue, would be less if the art wasn't so good. Never been big on Hal, but damn Tan draws a good Hal.

Do we learn any more about the nature of the Orange Lanterns?

How often do the Controllers force the word "control" into their dialogue? Because that's not annoying at all.

HOLY SHIT! Did you see Stel's upgraded body?!

And the OL that ate the sinner didn't look like a construct to me...

And yet another Law. Huzzah.

-I thought the reveals about the OLs were pretty interesting. Seeing the one in the space of the Vega System was pretty neat. Plus the whole thing about them lying in wait in the sector for people fleeing to it to escape the GLs made a lot of sense. Definitely curious about the reveal of the past the Guardians have with Larfleeze.

-Stel's body was pretty badass. Kind of wonder what his fate is at the end of that, since he is a robot and all.

-Sad there was no Sinestro in the issue. I guess he'll be more likely to show up in GLC anyway. Plus we know he and Hal won't be crossing paths soon.

-Pretty sure they laid the groundwork for Hal getting the blue ring off with one massive blast sometime during Blackest Night as a big attack at a vital moment.

-Not surprised it is going to be Ganthet and Sayd reaching out to the Indigos.

-4 out of 5.

Sector 666 is no longer off limits. Coming from the corrupt Guardian, so I reckon it is just pushing everyone into the Orange trap.

Great issue!

Regarding the new law:

The Vega System is no longer outside the Corps jurisdiction.

Sector 666 or Vega? Cuz' I thought they weren't the same thing. 666 is supposed to be the lifeless Sector that birthed the Inversions, and was wiped out by Manhunters.

Once again we get a law that appears to be a response to circumstances, even though it was initially set up that ALL the new laws were written at the same time, and simply revealed one-by-one.

Of course. They're the Guardian's "We can do whatever the fuck we want now" buttons.

The Controllers talking like that is just a geoffcon. They never used to talk like that at all.

The Orange Lanterns in one issue have lived up to my expectations, Agent Orange of Larfleez is UGLY, I cant wait to find out more about him,

Interesting to see Hal "man of action" Jordan's thoughts about the value of hope. I think Johns overemphasizes Hal's devaluing of the concept. This is the same man we're meant to believe brought hope to the citizens of Coast City after all.

Not a fan of the Stel redesign - looks like retread Transformers (from the movie), and that's not a good thing. Sometimes you can be *too* detailed. Hopefully he'll be rebuilt a little more streamlined.

If Agent Orange didn't even know the Controllers broke from the Guardians, just how old is he??

Not a bad issue. The art was awesome, the rest...lacking.

I just feel like there is no "substance" to this comic, nor have I for the last few issues. It feels like everything is just going through the paces, like things are conveniently just put into place.

Poor poor showing by the Controllers too, not happy with the way they were dealt with at all.

not a bad a issue but not the greatest either.

I rated it 3 stars . The art I liked.

I felt this issue like the titans comic as well, it was a quick read.
