Default One word summary for the different rings

Seems like one common "theme" (for lack of a better word) in the different comics, is that there is a specific word that more or less encapsulates the function or motive of the respective corps of the DC emotional spectrum.

For the life of me, some are obvious as they are mentioned in the comics or cartoons, but others are... difficult to pin down.

So just wondering what you guys think. Here's my definitions:

Will - Supports
Fear - Controls
Anger - Consumes
Greed - Hungers
Hope - Empowers
Compassion - ?
Love - ?

So do you guys have the same basic definitions too or anything different?

Well, personally, I wouldn't say will "supports" since it's more all-encompassing and can stand alone. If anything, compassion supports. Will enables, enacts, or even empowers (which you've already used). For the GLs, will means striving for something and knowing it will be accomplished because of the ring, which is why willpower is essential to the GL mythos.

Based on how DC has used them:

Will - Facilitates
Fear - Enslaves
Anger - Ignites
Greed - Afflicts
Hope - Empowers
Compassion - Transforms
Love - Reimagines
