I know you are a mod and all, but do some real research yourself. This particular error ring has not been seen in the hundred or so eBay listings and descriptions on the boards. Some errors are very common, like blue ring with orange symbol, and a few, like this one have only been seen once. Before this listing, two sold for about $80 each and one for $104. And, yes, that is why a collector who wants the complete set bought my ring for $100.

I was referring to other rare error ring sales, not the green one with a blue symbol.

GLs - and others...

I just crafted and put up on eBay this item: Black Hand's Cosmic Divining Rod.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Black-Hand-Cosmi...item23053c214c

Its solid. Its metal. It lights up.

Half the proceeds will be going to Haitian Relief efforts.

Well, they pair was originally $25, but they go for $35-60 for both now; $35 without Karu-Sil's constructs I think. Singly, Romat-Ru has gone for $20-30 so $20 is good, $30 the upper end. I'm guessing you paid $31 today. But if you wanted it, does a few dollars matter in the long run? But you should wait to enter your first bid until the very end. Bidding wars are where you lose the most money.

i was going to pay $30 for him but i was sniped just before the auction ended. grrr. i thought Romat-Ru was mine, but thats ok, now that i think about it, i think i would rather buy the 2-Pack instead of just the 1 fig. i just wish i could get my figs locally.

just because people aren't selling them on ebay does not mean they are rare, it may mean they are so common (like every bag had an error of some kind) that no one thinks its worth selling

Thank you SO MUCH for instantly DESTROYING any chance someone might have had of picking it up for a DECENT (i.e. LOW) PRICE! You're a real pal!

When something desirable like that is on eBay and it is NOT posted here, it usually means that members are watching the auction, hoping to snipe it and get it for a LOW price! DUH!!!

The seller is the sculptor and with the earthquake this past weekend he could really use the extra money for his studio. I own one of these statues and its very nice. The pictures he has do not do him justice.

This one is mine

Vintage Superman promo Ring from the 40's!

Can't believe how much this thing is worth, but a nice collector piece nonetheless.

Chill out dude. It's called "E-bay GL item of the week" not "lets hide auctions so someone can pick them up cheap".

He's helping his friend, he has a perfect right to do so. Wouldn't YOU want to get the most $$$ out of an auction if YOU were selling it? Yeah, that's what I thought. What's wrong, bidding price over your head now?
