Default Static Shock & John Stewart

I think that DC should make a series with static shock and john stewart teaming up. The static shock show and the Justice League series (as well as JLU) did a couple of episodes in which the 2 teamed up. I think they would make a lethal combination.

Then I could just pick up one book with two characters that are writing like boring tokens instead of two

Lantern A-train feels very strongly about this.

While the scenes between Static and John Stewart were interesting, I don't know if that relationship has enough potential for a series. Maybe I'm wrong.

Hahah did not even see that. Probably from all the timeouts and fails. I only hit submit once.

The only interaction the two have are in the JL/JLU-Static animated crossovers. Aside from that, I don't think they've had any interaction in the books.

Regarding them teaming up, they have nothing in common aside from the color of their skin. Static would be better by himself with an occasional team-up with someone around his own age.

Besides according to the animated series, John is statics longtime hero and with them working together I'd like to see what would happen and how static would have developed(still as a teen).

I would like Static and John together just for the simple fact, that, besides they are good team, Holocaust would show up and give John fits.

I think they may be a good team together, static would need that "mentor" figure in his life...if there was a comic where they were partnered, I'd buy it.

What Static needs, is Vixen, Power Girl, or Dr. Light. He would do just fine.

It would be a good team if static did team up with black lightning, but in the worst case sinerio they'd be defeated because they have the same powers and weaknesses

question to Static Shock cartoon fans

1st let me say yes i've seen the show and loved it (it's what got me into SS) sadly cause of school and work at the time i was only able to see half of it(parts of season 1, little of 2, and half of 3, and very little of 4 ), but thanks to Disney XD i'm getting up to speed on what i've missed over the years (), but when and why did he change/update his look? was there a reason for it or not?

I'm a pretty big fan of the show, but honestly, I can't remember why he changed his threads and I don't remember it being mentioned in the show. I do remember that the intro theme was changed from "Gotta be" to Lil Romeo when he changed his costume.

"Virgil Hawkins is a year older and that's allowed us to explore some of the darker places in his world. We have more action this year than we've ever had before and we have a number of villains who are adults, so the threats Static faces can be more varied. The costume is a natural outgrowth of all that, as is the new, more naturalistic look of the show. I can't wait for the fans to see what the team has achieved."

I liked the Static cartoon and he could use some more attention somewhere, maybe the Brave and Bold title. John seems like a good idea but I'd rather see Static team up with Wonder Woman and let her know what he thinks of that Amazon ass.
