...Y'know, I've never actually SEEN Pulp Fiction.
I never feel comfortable recommending that movie. Its just not typical in any fashion. But its never a dull moment.

Plus it could have ended right here and been fine, especially with the picture thing and Kyle coming back to father John.

T2 was a lot of fun, but it lacked that feeling of fear and hopelessness. This time is was about running, but at the same time they had tons of weapons, Sarah was competent in a fighting sense, and they had their own Terminator to help out. Graphics were better, and there was more action, but like I said, the atmosphere of the original wasn't there.

T3...no need to comment. I hated the female Terminator.

Haven't seen T4 yet.

- I feel the same about Alien Vs. Aliens. Both were really good, but the first one had a better atmosphere about it. They were not prepared for a confrontation like this, minimal weapons and no intelligence on the Alien. Plus it turned out they were set up from the start. 2nd one had again, more action and better graphics, but lacked that same feeling of fear.
You said Aliens was the best in the other thread. Now, it seems like you agree with me.

And I can see where you're coming from with T1. But, it's so damn dated. It looks like shit and it couldn't be more 80's. Cameron was a much better director for T2.

It's a lot easier to seem like a better director when you have a budget that's 96 million dollars bigger for the sequel.

Kyle Reese is also one of the biggest movie badasses of all-time. One of my favorite characters ever too. He's only in T2 for one deleted scene compared to being in the whole thing for the original.

To quote Peter Griffin, "I never cared for the Godfather."

I could never relate to those Italian Mob/Gang Movies.

Not my style of a movie. I'm not saying people can't like the Godfather, or say it's the best movie ever, I just don't really like it.

I did? Care to point that out to me? Since I've only ever mentioned Alien(s) in this thread.

I agree, the ending scenes with the robot look much different than later things. But I love the 80s, I love the bluescreen, I love it all. It's easy to get past that if you allow yourself to. Just cast your mind back to when the movie was brand new, that's what I do.

Oops. You did only mention Aliens in this thread.

Oh, I still like T1, very much so. I just like T2 more.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. LOVED this movie. My new favorite Christmas movie - mind you, the movie has nothing to do with Christmas besides taking place during that time of year. I know it's a little older, but I just saw it on the recommondation of a friend after I told him how much I loved In Bruges.

Blood and Bone - Okay martial arts-esque flick. It was a bit too Steven Segal-ish for me. MJW never got beat up or even tested. Still, it had some good fighting sequences.
