Jason Davis, a voice actor on the Disney Channel show “Recess,” died in Los Angeles on Sunday. He was 35.

“I am so heartbroken to share the saddest news of my life that my son Jason Davis passed away this morning in Los Angeles. Jason had a true heart of gold with such a zest for life. He was such a caring soul to everybody who ever knew him. He loved his friends and his family above all else. We ask for privacy as we take time to grieve this most devastating loss,” his mother, Nancy Davis, said in a statement to Variety.

Sad shit. Loved T.J. growing up. RIP!!!

The Wild, Wild West was a great show. (Forget that awful movie that was made many years later.) Black Sheep Squadron and Hawaiian Eye were pretty good too.

.....dammit!! I *just now* saw this at the top of the thread!!

Black Sheep Squadron was a show that my dad & I used to watch together when I was just "lil Taze"; were he still here, he'd likely be sad since Conrad did this _and_ cowboy -stuff (that I don't really care much about)....

Don't let the cowboy aspect keep you away from The Wild, Wild, West. The fact that it's set in the Old West has almost nothing to do with it. It's really like a cross between the Batman television show and James Bond.

Bob Cobert, the Grammy- and Emmy-nominated composer of television’s “Dark Shadows” and “The Winds of War,” died of pneumonia Feb. 19, in Palm Desert, Calif. He was 95.

Cobert’s themes for the 1960s Gothic horror soap “Dark Shadows” – “great spook music,” he once called it – were his most popular compositions, and “Quentin’s Theme” (for the character played by David Selby) became a top 10 hit in 1969 as recorded by the Charles Randolph Grean Sound, earning a Grammy nomination as Best Instrumental Theme.

Voice actor Junichi Goto was riding on a motorcycle when it collided with the left side wall of the Shuto Expressway's Haneda Route in Tokyo's Ōta Ward at about 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 24. He was rushed unconscious to a hospital, but was pronounced dead due to head injuries. He was 40. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police's Expressway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.

According to the Expressway Patrol, a male driver called the emergency hotline to report that "a motorcycle struck the side wall" in a single-vehicle accident on a straight, two-lane section of the Haneda Route. The driver said that the motorcycle passed him on his right and was ahead of him when it struck the side wall.

Goto was born in Osaka and lived in the Nakachō district of Tokyo's Meguro Ward.

Hosni Mubarak, who has died aged 91, was a stubborn and uninspiring dictator who clung to power as president of Egypt for three decades. He was periodically challenged by would-be rivals and survived at least six assassination attempts until he finally stepped down at the dramatic height of the Arab spring protests in February 2011, subsequently facing trial and imprisonment as the consequences of his country’s faltering revolution played out.

                                I have no real sympathies.
