ok, lol. It just sounded like you originally thought it was going to keep going on.

Hopefully this does pan out. There's already a few shows underway that were at least on the CW (warner bros network)

I was talking about canceled shows on smgo.tv, 90210 was on the CW and it's collecting votes to come back. Not sure where the other shows are from.

Yes, we've all been part of the same thread... Was just posting that the meeting went sour and that WB declined the revival offer "supposedly" anyway.

Yeah it’s not really surprising. WB obliviously feels there no need for the show anymore.

Um, beg to differ. The "Manhunter Menace" GL:TAS DVD I am holding in my hot little hand as I type this (no mean feat) clearly says "SEASON ONE - PART TWO" on the spine.

It may take years to get back into production, but it will. All will be well.

How will it get back into production. Basic economics. Profitability will occur as the economy improves. The property and character styling is still under copyright and, at a future date yet to be determined, will be revived. In 1969 the pundits said Star Trek was dead. Some of us believed it wasn't, and over time made it happen. I was there. I remember. I believe. And you are free to disagree.

For those of you who think spine doesn't count....no comment. Back at ya.

CD of soundtrack, part deux, being released tomorrow (2 July).

I'm watching a marathon of all 26 episodes with my son right now. Man this show was good! We're on the episode on Zamaron where Carol gets the ring and is reunited briefly with Hal.

It's a shame because we may never get a GL animated series again. and if we do, it's unlikely to be as good as this one was.

Someday they will. But it will be completely different. They never do the same Batman show twice.

They couldn't sell and toys associate with the cartoon, which I did enjoy.

I think if there's another Green Lantern animated series, they should be more creative with power ring constructs.

Weren't they limited with constructs because of money? I know they had a set number of constructs they were allowed to make, that's what they tended to use ones that could be reused.

I miss it as well, but at least GL got a solo 'toon. That's rare for a comic character outside of Superman, Batman, and Spider-man. Even Iron Man and Hulk have only been able to sustain 'toons for a short time. Animated shows seem to fare better when they are in the team format.

The real reason they couldnít sell toys wasnít because of constructs, but because the toys they made for the GL movie had shitty sales. No toy company was going to make toys based off a cartoon, based off a movie that didnít sell. Simple as that.

So in essence the movie caused the cancellation of the cartoon.

Another reason to hate the film I guess.
