Sony has confirmed to Home Media (see this link to next week's digital issue) that both Starship Troopers and the new direct-to-video sequel, Starship Troopers: Marauder will arrive on Blu-ray Disc on 7/29. The DVD version of Marauder will street that day as well. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE!? Both Blu-ray releases will include pop-up video segments during the film with graphics and behind-the-scenes information. The Starship Troopers Blu-ray will also include an interactive Recruitment Test, as well as all of the bonus material from the original DVD release (deleted scenes, featurettes, audio commentary, a documentary, episodes of the animated Roughnecks: The Starship Trooper Chronicles and more). Marauder will include 2 featurettes and 2 commentaries on both formats.

So anyway... is there anyone else who's looking forward to this?

I know I am! I mean, the second movie was crap, but it's Troopers! From Starships! Innnnnnnnnnnnnn SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!

Did anyone else actually pick up any of the Starship Troopers RPG books? I got all of them for $5 apiece at Gencon last year.
