Would it kill anyone to cast an Alfred that LOOKS like Alfred?!? There have NEVER been a live action Alfred that looked right. Not that there really has for Bruce Wayne either of course, but Alfred has always irked me. They need to find John Waters slightly less gay brother and sign him up.

![]() Years ago, when they were casting for the Fanastic Four movie I remember talking with a friend about who should play Doctor Doom and I was trying to say Jeremy Irons, but mistakenly said Ron Jeremy (I'm not even familiar with his work, but had seen him on Howard Stern multiple times). Then, neither of us could get that idea out of our heads. [The best I can find is Ron Jeremy as Mario:] ![]()

But maybe Alfred will be 100% CGI, and that's why they cast Serkis (I'm kidding please don't do that). |

If that chest logo is holding the Batarang, Superman II style, then I can live with it.
If that truly is made from the pieces of Joe Chill's gun, I'm burning DC Comics to the ground. |

Meh, no different from the gun being melted down and incorporated into the armor like detective 1000

#1, if true, I hope this doesn't foreshadow some big anti-gun, anti-2nd amendment message for the movie. Obviously Batman is anti-gun (except when he's not) but I wouldn't like to see that be the "message."
#2, if true, what happens when his chest emblem gets damaged? Does he melt down another gun? #3, it's ugly.

![]() ![]() Looks like... platemail in there? Other angles: ![]() ![]() I think I kind of see what they're going for now, in these pics. And looks like grey material underneath. We'll have to wait and see it with him standing and the cape in play, but I think it could be an interesting take.

This looks like Zero Year dirtbike Batman. Unless they add the cape in post using cgi.

It looks like what an Arrowverse Batman would probably have looked like.

Not a fan of the costume, think it looks ugly as hell personally, but it wouldn't be the first time something that looked bad in set pics ended up looking fine in the finished product.

First look at the Batmobile:
![]() ![]() If the Burton Batmobile was elegant and gothic, the Nolan Batmobile was military-like and utilitarian, and the Snyder Batmobile was a bit of both... ... this just looks like a hotrod. Like, I could go and buy that somewhere for $4000. Very polite of Batman to install such nice bright brake lights. Very considerate for traffic.

One more:
![]() Not a fan, too normal looking. Also why would Batman have the engine exposed? Seems ill-advised?
