Hans Zimmer To Score Patty Jenkins’ ‘Wonder Woman 1984’

Quote:
Hans Zimmer has signed on to score the upcoming superhero sequel Wonder Woman 1984. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster) who previously helmed last year’s original movie (scored by Rupert Gregson-Williams) and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal. The movie follows the title character as she comes into conflict with the Soviet Union during the Cold War in the 1980s, and finds a formidable foe in the form of the Cheetah. Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Jenkins, Stephen Jones and Gadot are producing the project. Zimmer has previously contributed the Wonder Woman theme to 2016’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Wonder Woman 1984 is set to be released on November 1, 2019 by Warner Bros. Pictures. (Hans-Zimmer.com) Zimmer’s other upcoming projects also include X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Disney’s The Lion King remake and Steve McQueen’s Widows.

Interesting. For a couple of reasons.

So much for retiring from superhero scores when he's now doing this and Dark Phoenix. Then again I always Zimmer was full of himself when he said that. Eh!

I think that looks horrific. Haven't they learned not to mess with a classic look.

I'd be kind of surprised if that's her one and only look through the film. That could be a warrior armor she wears on Paradise Island or something.

It might look better if it wasn't for the overflow of colors.

Agreed. It's a bad combo.

Hmm... so Diana is "taking the fight to the White House"? Huh.

https://www.comicbookmovie.com/wonde...WKd1aPWJ32qW10

If I had to speculate, it's going to be Zeus or somebody in disguise as a politician in the White House (maybe even the president) up to to good (it's 1984, so probably an oh so relevant to now Russian collusion) and an underlying "powerful statement" about Trump. Cheetah will come to her senses and will unite with WW against the Evil in the White House as two strong, independent women, I'm certain.

I'd need to see it live-action before writing it off.

You just know there's going to be a big montage of her deciding on her outfit.

That's terrible. The villains in WW1 were weak already, and that streak seems to continue.
