Saw it earlier this week, loved it. Easily my favorite Spider-Man movie and honestly it's pretty high up there in terms of my favorite super hero movie in general.
Go see it.

I saw it last weekend with my son since he's the Spidey fan in the family. I have to say, that was an EXCELLENT animated movie. Definitely worth seeing on the big screen. Better than most of the live action Spidey movies too, save for Toby's first two movies.

^I don't know if it's just because I'm out of step with modern fandom or because I stopped being a Spidey fan about 25 years ago, but the trailer for this one did nothing for me and I don't know who most of the Spidermen were.
But if you guys liked it that much, I'll try it on Netflix.

I'd recommend you see it on the big screen if you can, it looks great. Oh and stay after the credits.

I didn't know anything about them either, other than what my son has shown me for skins on the new ps4 spidey game. You don't need any background to jump in and enjoy this movie. It's pretty well self contained and explained well enough.

It's surprising that a movie with as convoluted and "comic book-y" a concept as this was so inviting and easy to follow. It's the best Spider-Man film by a country mile for me, and I'm happy to hear that a sequel has already been green lit. It's actually one of the best comic book movies I have seen, when I think about that.
I think where it really succeeds is in tackling all the wild multiverse stuff while keeping things very "human" and character driven with the focus on Miles' and Peter's lives, and Gwen some, too. This is kinda' coming out of nowhere, but that's where I think a lot of Geoff Johns' comics fail. He just focuses on these big "wars" and more or less loses sight of the characters and their lives. This movie shows how it should be done.

I really enjoyed the movie and really liked it, but I wouldn't say that I loved it.

Saw this with my son opening weekend and it was incredible, just never got around to saying anything about it LOL. The twist with the Spider-man in the beginning was cool, and I liked how easy it was for the Multiverse to be explained in the flick. I'd hoped DC would somehow tap into the Multiverse concept in their films but it appears Marvel beat them to the punch.
The end credits scene has me excited for future films.... however it doesn't sync up with the statement the sequel will be all female with the addition of Miles. They should totally make a few Multiverse versions of Miles and not JUST Peter... imagine a female spin on Miles or a male version of Gwen? Mia Moralez and Glen Stacey? ![]()

I was the movie on its opening weekend and very much enjoyed it. I wanted to watch it again, but in 3D during the week between Christmas and New Year's, but I couldn't find a theater close to my home showing it in 3D.
I'm disappointed that the box office numbers isn't really any where new "Venom's." I hope that Sony creates a live action version of Mile Morales for their Venom-verse instead of poaching Peter Parker from the MCU when the Marvel/Sony deal expires.

I was only half kidding. I actually googled biggie to see if it was what I thought it was. I actually consider myself pretty eclectic in my music tastes in the sense that I like classical, oldies, classic rock, blues, and early country, but the number of hip songs I can name wouldn't even use up all my fingers to count.

In October 2019, I started recording a podcast with a friend. It's German language, that's why I haven't hyped it here yet. But what we do on that podcast is watch a comic book adaptation every week, review them and rank them.
Into the Spider-Verse is #1 on the list. |

It was fun i wouldnt call it the greatest thing since sliced bread. For me and only me it was a one time watch. I think im just exausted with the whole time travel or multiverse in all these films and shows
