Episode #228: You Did Nazi That Coming?

Guten tag, meine freunde! Welcome to another slanderous edition of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast! In this week’s episode, we’re joined by part-time commentator, full-time hater........Tazer! He joins Bryan in their review of the second season of ABC’s Agent Carter, capping off news discussion that also consists of the latest slew of set photos from Doctor Strange, as well as alleged casting of Fox’s New Mutants flick! In review, it’s thin pickings as Ben doesn’t know what to make of X-Men ’92 #1, and Bryan admires the art of Captain America #7, the 75th anniversary issue and the return of a ruggedly handsome Steve Rogers, the Aryan ideal! That’s our show for this week, loyal followers! Remember to subscribe to us on iTunes, rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review, and join us again next week as we march into the Dark Continent and come face-to-face with the Black Panther!

The two Warriors go out and party like its 1999 with the way they tackle the news this week: the final X-Men: Apocalypse trailer is railed against by Bryan, but both Bryan and Iggy are overjoyed to see that RDJ plans to welcome Spider-Man into the MCU with an appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming; the two also review the ethnic issue of casting a Caucasian female in the role of the Ancient One and the implications given by the writer of the forthcoming Doctor Strange film as to why this was, as well as news that the Punisher will be receiving his own spin-off series out of the success of season 2 of Daredevil on Netflix, and the appearance of Nathan Fillion as one Simon Williams in the forthcoming sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy. In reviews this week, two books co-headline as Book(s) of the Week with Doctor Strange #7 and All-New Wolverine #7 taking center-stage, and in individual reviews Ben goes galactic with The Ultimates #6, and Bryan goes nuts with Moon Knight #1! • Episode #234: DC Did It Better

Heil DC Comics! We bring you the latest mind-bending installment of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, and, boy, is it a barn-burner of an episode! We have a full complement as The Marvelous Iggy, Bryan, Jon, and the most frequent part-timer that we’ve ever had, Tazer, all gather to discuss the most noteworthy news from the last couple of weeks. The Warriors chime in on the relaunch of the Marvel NOW! Initiative, movement on the Captain Marvel flick in terms of both cast and crew, and the reclamation of the film rights for Namor, the Sub-Mariner, by Marvel Studios and what this means for his future in the MCU. In reviews, the Book of the Week is the very controversial issue of Steve Rogers: Captain America #1, and how could we discuss the content without also discussing the blowback? All that, plus individual reviews: Jon cuts Bendis off even though the writer swears he’s good for it with Invincible Iron Man #9, Ben is ready to surrender with Civil War II #1, and Bryan is back on board with the blood in Old Man Logan #7! That’s our show for this week, folks! Remember to subscribe to us on iTunes, rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review, and join us again next time where we talk about that time in the 1980s where the world almost ended... it was kind of a big deal, I guess, what with it being labeled an ‘Apocalypse’ and all…
