This is actually pretty interesting. I knew the film was controversial for the violence it contained, but I guess it's been so long that I forgot about how obvious and ridiculous other issues were, and some things I never knew (but I haven't watched any extras on my DVD of this yet, if any of this would be in those to begin with).

Based off the last issue it seems clear that the big generational change King has been talking about re: Batman is bringing back Thomas and Martha Wayne. Can't wait until Bruce has to kill his parents for reasons in a few years.

Eh, Spider-Man already did that when his parents came back as robots and then as clones, so I don't think anybody will mind King doing it with Batman.

I don't think that is going to happen. It's more likely they'll move Bendis over from Metropolis to Gotham.
