Thank you brother - She's gone to that place eternal in the heavens....

I'll see her again and she will be just as happy as the day I brought her home.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

A few years back, I had to say goodbye to a German Shepard who had loved and guarded our family for over 16-years. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do, but she had a tumor on her brain the Doc couldn't get to.

It still bums me out, as it does to hear about other people losing pets.

The only thing that worked for me was just trying to focus on all the cool, happy moments my pup gave everyone along the way.

God, I'm really sorry, Jim. I know how much you loved Slink.
I have never lost a pet. I have 2 cats at the moment and they are like family to me. I love them so much I don't know what I'd do if sth happened to them.
It's a great connection one makes with one's pets..
It must be terrible, but you must be at peace with the fact that you gave Slink love and a family..
I hope you are doing OK, Jim.

Dude that totally sucks...sorry about the loss, man.

When I was a little kid I had a parakeet named Obi-Wan (I'm a Star Wars guy...) and when he died I was totally distraught. May Slink RIP.

I just put Sam to bed - he looks so lonely and has started sleeping where Slink was the last time they spent the night together

The GLJimT Corps - mourns .....

Default Rest In Peace, Slink

Jim;

My condolences on your loss. My family still hasn't entirely gotten over the loss of our last cat, who had to be put to sleep several years ago because he had cancer and was dying a slow, painful death.

After he was put to sleep, we decided to honor his memory by displaying our favorite photo of him. My mom found the perfect picture frame for the occasion, although I no longer remember where she found it.

Good words that are appropriate in this situation.

Shingo - thanks bro

Jack - that is the perfect picture frame - I think pets touch our hearts in ways we would never let people

thanks Myth - I just got the call that her remains are ready - I don't know if you've ever had to deal with cremated remains but it is awful
