Thankfully I had just redone my top comic movie list in the other thread. Made that nice and easy!
Ditto, though, as stated there, the actual ranking I feel totally unsure of. I already am making some changes. A rough list is something like:

Superman 2
X2
Batman: The Movie ('66)
Superman
Guardians of the Galaxy
Dredd
Iron Man
Green Lantern
X-Men: Days of Future Past
Batman (1989)

Well, we started and ended in the same place. I really need to finish my BTAS DVD collection. I've only got vol. 1 and Harley isn't even introduced in that.

You should get on that before the collections get more expensive

I got bought vol 4 about 10 years ago and they're still 30 bucks for some reason and they're not even Blu Rays

That reminds me, I need to go on Amazon and buy If You're So Smart, Why Aren't You Rich?

That was a big part of it. I kept thinking they'd go down in price, but they never do. Same with Superman TAS. You're right. I need to bite the bullet before they're out of print and $100 a piece on eBay. Plus, I just want to see them again. It's been forever since I've seen Dini's origin episode for Harley.

Ditto. When I was a teen, I did used to go to local comic conventions with a GL shirt, black jeans, and a pastic ring, but I didn't so the mask or gloves or really try the true outfit.

I'm too old for cosplay. As a kid I did Superman one year and the Hulk another year for Halloween. When I was in my 20s I did horror icons for Halloween to hand out candy to trick or treaters. I did Jason one year, Michael Myers a couple of years, and did an amazing Leatherface. Never did any comic book related ones though, and wouldn't do them now. When I go to shows now, my son dresses up. He's putting the finishing touches on a comic accurate golden age Jay Garrick Flash at the moment.

As a kid I was more likely to dress as a Star Wars character (I was actually Admiral Akbar one year. I've been trying to get my mom to find a picture of that. It was a totally homemade costume!) but I've dressed as GL for a Halloween party before (minimal effort version; green domino mask, GL t-shirt over black longsleeve shirt, black pants, white gloves, GL ring. No attempt at green boots).

As a kid for Halloween, I dressed as Batman in one of those old school masks with a rubber and plastic costume. The last time I dressed up for a convention, it was as Storm Shadow.

I haven't even watched five live-action series based on comics. I think I saw some of the 90s Superboy, but not much. The sum total of live-action comics I've watched in order of preference are

(1) Batman (1966)
(2) Wonder Woman (only watched 1/3 of it so far, but I own 2/3)
(3) the 90s Flash show
(4) Lois and Clark

I quit trick r treating young because I wasn't physically able to walk that much and the one year I went in a wheelchair I was so embarrassed by the obvious pity the parents showed that I didn't want to do it anymore. As far as I remember, I didn't go as any comic hero in those years probably because there was no official GL stuff and it would've been beyond my mother's costuming skills to make from scratch. For the years I did do it, I believe I trick r treated as a ghost, Dracula, Mr. T, and a pirate.

If I think back, the full list of live-action comic book TV shows that I've watched (not counting ones where I watched an episode or two and gave up, like Arrow or Gotham, or saw a few isolated episodes in rerun, like 90's Flash or the George Reeve Superman) are:

Batman (Adam West)
Wonder Woman
Smallville
Lois & Clark
Supergirl
The Flash (CW)
The Tick
The Incredible Hulk
Shazam! (Also The Secrets of Isis, but at the time that wasn't based on an actual comic book character that I know of)
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

Out of that list my 5 favorites are probably (in no particular order)

Batman (Adam West)
The Tick
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
The Flash (CW)
Smallville

(I wanted to put Wonder Woman on that list, but rewatching it more recently, I decided I liked the parts that took place during WWII, but the bulk of the series jumped forward to the 70's, and I didn't enjoy that as much for whatever reason.)

There were a couple other Superhero-type shows, I think (the one that comes to mind is No Ordinary Family, which I liked), but they weren't based on an actual comic, so I didn't count them.

^I forgot about the live-action Tick. I'm pretty sure I watch the whole, short-lived thing on Instant Netflix before it expired off the list. So, I have seen exactly five (if 1/3 of WW counts). Tick would probably bump down Flash for me. I'll put in it 3rd place.

When I was a kid, I remember my first costume being a yellow version of Spider-Man that we purchased from K-MartÖ and I remember that I had a hard time breathing while wearing that mask with the elastic band.

As far as recent comic characters at conventions, Iíve been Indigo Tribe John Stewart and Future Static Shock from Justice League Unlimited. I would LOVE to cosplay Darkseid, but donít have the girth or body mass to pull that off. I love cosplaying and feel that youíre never too old to do something you enjoy, especially if itís not hurting anyone.

As a GL/Hal fan, I'm obligated to answer Green Lantern (Jordan) for the latter. As to the former, I'll go with Harley Quinn since she didn't need the rest of the Squad.

I have to go with Green Lantern. I waited my whole life for that movie and they blew it. I need them to get GL right.
