I'm torn between Nathan Fillion and Josh Keaton, but I'd probably go with Josh.

Well, that was certainly an appropriate video for this thread.
Of all of those, I actually like the Lego voice a lot. I also like Miloni and Fillion.

Michael Rye from Challenge of the Superfriends is still my favorite. He sounds like a hero that leads and takes charge.

That was fun to watch. Is it strange that there is a tiny part of my inner child that still likes the Classic superfriends and Filmation voice? I don't know if I would use them now but if they offerd to do my outgoing message I would "say hell yes"!

It's funny, but even though I apparently voted in this poll, I have no idea who I voted for.

I never voted since Rye wasn't a choice.

I think someone else mentioned about Fillion not being all that great as Hal. When I hear him speak as GL, I just hear Fillion, not necessarily Hal Jordan.

I have that problem with a lot of people. For instance, I watched The Croods a couple weeks back, and the whole movie I kept saying to myself, "Yep, that's Nick Cage."

I can't decide if that's better or worse than the all too common cases where I recognize somebody's voice, but can't recall whose it is, and end up wracking my brain trying to figure it out, even as I watch the movie...

Yeah, I think I subconsciously hear him sometimes when reading (especially Silver-Age comics), but I'm sure that's because he's among my earliest GL memories.

I do that all the time. Sometimes, I'm surprised though. I think it's so and so, but it turns out to only be a voice actor who is trying for a certain sound.

Fillion and Keaton are my favorites but I also really like Baldwin and North. They all have their own unique take on Hal that sounds good. Too many good actors to pick from!

I'm probably in the minority on this, but I can appreciate someone more that's not just speaking in their regular, everyday voice when they voice characters.

I know this isn't Hal Jordan-related, but I'm a huge fan of Phil Lamarr because his normal voice sounds NOTHING like his take on John Stewart, to which he admitted at a recent comic convention, was an imitation of Dennis Heysbert's take on Stewart at the audition. This ultimately ended with him beating out Heysbert and getting the role. In any event, Lamarr does a wide array of voices, and almost never uses his regular speaking voice for characters, which is impressive and unique in regard to voice talent.

I think Nathon is hoping it will translate into him getting the role in a live action movie. If they ever do another one. Lord knows he has the nerd comunity backing him, I still stand by that he is not right for it.

I doubt the studio thinks he's the right age anymore. They rarely go the route of making the character older than the source material.

Of course, I wouldn't blame him for taking it. Very few actors have the conviction to turn down a plum roll that's handed to them because they think someone else is better suited to it (I know Steve McQueen did that, but not many others).

I believe Meloni did the best, I like 'em all, but I think he sounded the most natural, and didn't sound forced at all
