Ironic that Doom's ego wouldn't get in the way of a crime.

I've seen several stories of fools flaunting their ill gotten goods on social media way too many times. They just love the attention and fame.

There was one dude that was thrilled to see the police posted his picture and profile on their website as a wanted criminal and the dude liked it on his facebook page. The cops found him and arrested his dumbass.

I dunno about the Family with Money thing. The article says he was kicked out of UMass Amherst...which, dude. You got kicked out of ZooMass?
Regardless of its reputation, it's a state school which is really reasonably priced for in-state students.

I can't speak to UConn's price point.
But yeah...privileged is indeed a good word for him.

A valid question, though I've always kind of gotten the impression that college campuses are kind of insulated in some ways from the larger world. It is possible that a drunken college student acting like a jerk in a college cafeteria (that is where this was, right? I've got no sound here) might be treated similarly whatever the race, whereas that same drunken fool might be treated very differently based on race down the road doing the same thing at, say, Applebee's. (Not that I'm saying Applebee's is somehow especially racist, just that outside the college environment race might be a bigger factor).

I'm not sure that'd make me cut him that much slack. Is this the first time he's EVER been drunk? Most people I knew in college managed not to be that big a jerk even while drunk, and anybody that WAS that big a jerk while drunk would know it after the first time, when everybody told him, "Hey, you're a real jerk when you're drunk!" If he then proceeds to get drunk again anyway, I'm not giving him a pass on his ridiculous drunken behavior.

The blog Only in Amherst reports Gatti was previously a student at UMass Amherst, where he was arrested twice for run-ins with cops last September. According to police reports about the first incident, an officer told Gatti to move out of the street, so he “raised his left hand in a ‘Hook-em-horns’-like gesture and shouted fuck you nigger” at an officer.

He then allegedly yelled “Fuck you! I only said ‘fuck you,’ ... so fuck you!”

He was charged with disorderly conduct.

In the second incident, he was charged with assault and battery against a police officer, who reportedly suffered arm and hand injuries.

Personally, I think the kid more than earns F'n Dumbass for being drunk and disorderly while underage and sporting an open container.

When I got trashed in college I at least had the decency to stay in my room, or off campus all together.
