This is something I should have done years ago.
So the whole purpose for this thread is just purely animals- from spiders to giraffes, dogs, cats, gorillas, bunnies, snakes, sharks....and the stories that surround them. Acts of Bravery, Animal abusers brought to justice, or the latest grumpy cat memes. All I ask is that stories that have to do with animal abuse should contain a warning or heads up, and no pics of the actual abuse. Tends to be unnerving. I hereby christen the maiden voyage of this thread with some luvs: ![]()

Oh, that poor pup. You can tell when a dog feels humiliated. But cute as a button for sure. He/She can come live with me, and join my Corgi Army for Doom's conquest of the world!

In all honesty, I didn't have the heart to read more than the title. I saw it, was saddened by the heavy wording, assumed the worst implications were true, and the site's other links weren't helping any. I posted it and just let it be.
If she's still alive, then great. Either way, that's how the wildlife is: predators eat, simple as, even when it's one we don't think of as cuddly.

Ok, here's the real deal:
(Safe to Read the article) "Lioness risks all for Pride to cross a river" (truth version) Basically, a couple Lionesses and their cubs needed to cross a river. One Lioness spotted a Croc and went after it as a diversionary tactic while the rest of the group crossed the river. There was a bit of drama between the brave Lioness and the Croc, but she made it out fine with a bit of a bloody mouth. Everyone lived happily ever after except for grumpy Croc.
