Maybe Frank Millar knows Goef Johns. We could get him to tell us who this mystery man is.

Yeah, I'm tempted to agree. That is, meeting Stan Lee is not a high priority for me since I don't care much about Marvel. That said, his contribution is historical.

This is probably the best argument. If it really came down to it, you'd kick yourself if you could've met Lee while he's still living since Johns is likely to live a lot longer. At one convention I had the choice of meeting and getting the autograph of James Doohan (aka Scotty) or Billy Dee Williams and I picked the former. He died like a year later. If I had made the opposite choice, I would've been really sad.

Heck, I bet Johns himself would tell you to pick Stan Lee.

Easy for me. Fox all the way. And if there had been a choice, I'd also choose Bill Finger, Martin Nodell, Jerry Siegel, Joe Shuster or Bob Kane before Lee.

Yeah. It depends on the circumstances. If it was just a signing, I'd probably only say "I really liked XYZ and thanks," but if I was say having an hour-long conversation I'd also be tempted to ask a lot of indignant questions and/or complain. Mind you, it probably wouldn't happen because even when I've met people like victim #7 from Halloween 5 I got all shy and tongue-tied. When I met Ray Bradbury I literally couldn't speak (my friend expressed my fandom for me).
