Re-reading "Watership Down" by Richard Adams for the umpteenth time. One of the best books ever written.

If you're doing the Dark Tower series, you should hit the other tie-in books like "Salem's Lot", "The Stand", etc. All are good reads and really enhance your Dark Tower experience. Also, if you know how the Dark Tower series ends (if not, consider the following spoiler material), then reading the short story "That Feeling, You Can Only Say What It Is in French" in the book "Everything's Eventual" helps you see the seeds for the Dark Tower series's end sown earlier in Stephen King's mind.

Also high on the re-read list are the novels by Neil Gaiman ("Neverwhere", "American Gods", etc).

A train, people give you crap because they are poorly written excuses for Vampire porn. If you like the gritty modern urban fantasy, read the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher.

Thanks for the tip, but I've already read all those. I'm a big King fan, but never thought I'd like the DT series. The Stand and Salem's Lot are two of my favorites.

and for the time being that is okay with me....i wasnt expecting shakespeare when i decided to read the series...i knew what i was getting into before i started...for me right now it is just fun and enjoyable and even though i plan on reading them at some point i would take vampire porn a la Anita Blake as opposed to vampire abstinence a la the Twilight series? I try other things out ...my tastes are very varied in the world of sci fi and fantasy etc it ridiculous.
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

I'm still working on Resident Evil: Nemesis. However, while I do read printed literature, I'm also listen to audiobooks during my morning exercise regimen. At present, I've just begun listening to Gregory Magurie's A Lion Among Men, ie Book 3 of the Wicked Cycle (I've had the audiobook since October, but I decided first to re-listen to the preceding novels and then work up to Book 3).

With great difficulty, I have finished the Superman/Batman script and I'm so happy they never made this movie! Score 1 for the bad guys(WB)

It did however inspire me to finish work on my own screenplays, because if that got READ by WB, ANYTHING I write can at least get bought.
