American Idol 2010

Are there any fans out there in GL land? Years ago, a friend got me interested in this show and now I'm hooked. I haven't missed a show... and before anyone thinks of confiscating my Man Card, think again. There's PLENTY of eye candy on this show. This show turned out hotties like the bubbly and voluptuous Katherine McPhee

Antonella Barba

Syeesha Mercado

Lisa Tucker.

...and we can't forget Kara Dioguardi.

This season features some of the weakest contestants I've ever seen on AI. It's the one year where there are no clowns and misfits void of legitimate talent that clearly don't belong, but when it comes to stand-out performers, the contestants are sorely lacking.

For the guys, I think it'll be a 3-man race between Big Mike, Andy Garcia (who's stock is falling) and the Blond Rocker.

I'm still kind of up in the air when to comes to the girls.

Yes, it's a pretty weak field this year. The Blonde Rocker is my pick.

Katharine McPhee is my all time favorite. However, her stock drop (at least for me) after a saw her on "The Soup" as a thin blonde.

DAMN! What the hell happened to McPhee? Everything that I liked about her is GONE! LOL!

I'm going with Big Mike simply on his stage presence and natural charisma. Everyone else is vanilla and bland.

...and I LOVE Lacy Brown's eyes. She has great hotness potential. I'd like to give her a make-over.

I can't watch American Idol live. I catch it after it airs on my DVR so that I could foward through the commercials.

My wife and I watched it until this season.

The talent is practically non-existent with this group and Ellen is a complete bore.

This will be the last season I'm thinking, since Simon's leaving.

I know it's the last season for Simon, but I doubt it will be the last season for the show because it's a ratings juggernaut. I'm sure Fox and Ryan Seacrest will try to keep the show running. Maybe Ellen will go.

Ellen needs to go. She's brought nothing new to the show. I'm starting to think she's dipping into whatever Paula was sampling. She couldn't tell the difference between a Guitar and a Piano last week.

Taylor Hicks should have never made it pass the top four. He should have gotten eliminated instead of Daughtry.

Next to McPhee, Sanjaya's sister Shyamali Malakar was the hottest.

It's like watching a Bay Watch episode.

Yeah, but when Simon's new show starts, it will replace Idol as the juggernaut.

Didi should have been voted off last week. Her physical qualities are what's keeping her on the show because vocally, she's not that good. She's getting votes from Horny teenaged boys that jerk off to her.

Big Mike for the win!

Andy Garcia might be one to go. He's been str-ugg-a-ling surviving off his potential for the last couple of weeks. Simon had it spot on in saying his performance was desperate. He was trying to find that same "Genie in a bottle" when her performed 'Straight up' during Hollywood.

Looks like it's going to be between Mike and Blond Rocker guy and Crystal for the girls.

There, that's better. I was disappointed in that stunt. It was a desperate plea for ratings... and I'm sure it worked. With every progressing season, AI has been more about spots and gimmicks than it has about singing. I can't stand the Idol Gives back portion of the show. I don't care to see a bunch of celebrities that I don't give a crap about dancing around my screen.

Last night was pretty Meh although I'm becoming a fan of Sioban (sp)... and I still love Lacy's eyes. With the right make-up and hairstyle, she can look pretty damn scrumptuous. Didi looked pretty hot too. She should show more flesh.

I give american idol 1 more season after this one. The talent this season is completely laking and when Simmon brings over the x-factor american idol is going to look like a cheap knock off.
