That's cool, abit before my birthday, I'll have the party to end all parties. If the world doesn't end, well that's okay cuz my epitaph will read: "Fuck yeah"

Christ will return on that date, the world won't end until late October... at least by that report.

Still it looks like both royal weddings will be going ahead and providing there are cinemas in tact, we'll get to see those movies

1.: The word "awesome", in its original meaning, meant "scary", not "great".

2.: Those guys think that (once Jesus comes back and judges us all) they'll go straight to heaven. Of course they like that idea.

I always hope that when people like this die and meet their supposed God he just looks at them and says "What the hell were you doing? That's not what I meant or wanted at all."

I actually did not know that first part. You learn something new everyday.

Part of this guys wiki.

Quote:
Camping calculates that the crucifixion of Christ took place on Friday April 1, AD 33.Not all commentators agree with that date. Hoehner argues for April 3, 33 A.D. Other students of the subject have placed the event in AD 29, 30, or 31.

So does this mean his ressurection was just a really elaborate April Fools prank?

It makes sense when you think about it. "Shock and awe", "Awe-inspiring"... It's not such a big leap from there.

Aside from the religious folks that want you to repent what exactly is the point of informing people about when the world will end like there is something we could do about it.

But isn't that bet guaranteed to be pretty much irrelevant if you lose?
