San Diego Comic Con, as always, brings us lots of news
including lots of GL Action Figure goodness!
First Up, from DC Direct, we already knew it was coming but we got the
first look at the Justice Alex Ross Alan Scott Figure
(remember, kids, these are 7 inchers).
From Mattel we get a ton of GL Toys! Ready? Here we go!
INFINITE HEROES
Infinite Heroes 3.75 inch figures, just as the first
wave started hitting Target and Toys 'R' Us which contains
a Guy Gardner Figure (the second portion of wave 1
should contain a Black Hand Figure) we get the mega
announcement at the Mattel Booth and panel...
Hard Traveling Heroes 3-pack, containing Green Arrow,
Black Canary and Green Lantern Hal Jordan (previously
announced) below we see the Hal figure.
The gold mine coming up next - Available August 2008 -
Infinite Heroes 6-pack Toys R Us exclusive.
Defense of Oa! The best we can tell the pack
will include, John Stewart, Translucent Hal Jordan, Guy
Gardner, one Weaponer of Qward, and 2 Battle Damaged
Manhunter Robots.
Modern Star Sapphire Single Carded Figure. The picture
is a little blurry but you get the idea.
That's a total of 7 lantern related figures revealed in
the IH line at SDCC 08! on to Mattel's other line
DC UNIVERSE CLASSICS
DC Universe Classics (DCUC) Wave 3 of the DCUC line is to
contain Hal Jordan, and Sinestro in both classic and
Sinestro Corps uniforms. the C&C is Classic GL
Villain
Solomon Grundy. The panel revealed that after a long
long wait Wave 3 should start hitting stores this week
(July 27th - August 2nd)
Announced at SDCC 2008 - The previously hard to find
Hank Henshaw (cyborg superman) and Mongul figures will be
re-released in a 2 pack
Green Lantern 2 pack featuring Abin Sur and a Repaint
Hal Jordan as a Toys R Us exclusive
The Last GL News in regards to DCUC is this Green
Lantern Hal Jordan 12 inch ( 2up ) Figure!
The continuation of the JLU line, now a pure collector
line had a few GL announcements as well

Sinestro Corps Sinestro:
There are 4 other know Mattel Lines that the DCU license
is being used on, but no official word on any other GL
merch.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold cartoon)
