Ron
Marz Interview
The excitement of the San Diego Comic Con is dying down
(alas, not much Green Lantern-related news arose from it).
As we hit a week with no new GL comics, hopefully my
interview with Ron Marz will whet some appetites, if even
just a little. Read it
here.

"Green
Lantern: Year One" coming soon?
A new interview with Geoff Johns
here.
Full October Solicits posted on DC Comics Website
Of particular interest in the cover (and a bit of info) for
Green Lantern #24, viewable
here. That Countdown
teaser poster from months ago begins to make sense. Also see
the cover for Green Lantern Corps #17
here.
Countdown #30-26 :
Karate Kid confronts Brother Eye! Jimmy Olsen is
grabbed by Forager! Shadowpact tries to subdue an
out-of-control Mary Marvel! The Crime Syndicate, the
Extremists and Monarch gather against the
Challengers! Holly and Harley arrive on Paradise
Island — and begin their “training”! A lucky
coin-toss might have Two-Face save Piper and
Trickster from Checkmate! And who is the mysterious—
but funny — Jokester? Oh, and Mister Mxyzptlk
explains it all!
Tales of the Sinestro Corps
Presents - Cyborg Superman :
Who is
Hank Henshaw? What made him the Cyborg Superman
(perhaps a retelling of the events of Adventures of
Superman #466?), and what does he hope the Sinestro
Corp can give him? Alan Burnett peels away the
mysterious layers of the mechanical monster as the
new JLA Watchtower’s defenses are put to the test
against him and the Sinestro Corps!
Tales of the Sinestro Corps
Presents - The Anti-Monitor
(apparently just stock art from the Sinestro Special
in place for now, not the real cover) :
He nearly destroyed the universe. He has a bloody
track record with the Flash family. And he frightens
even Superman. He is the Anti-Monitor, the most
powerful evil in the DC Universe, and this special
one-shot reveals what his future holds! Plus,
witness another horrifying Tale of the Sinestro
Corps: “Fear is a Baby's Cry”!
Justice League of America,
Vol. 4 #14 :
John Stewart, back in the JLA? (the buzz is that he
and Hal are going to be doing rotating shifts in the
JLA, not one replacing the other, but take this one
with a grain of salt at the moment)
The League loses a member as writer Dwayne McDuffie
turns up the heat in the “Injustice League” story
arc! A party has turned very deadly for the World’s
Greatest Heroes when they find themselves prisoners
of the Injustice League!

our website. In the days to come we'll begin compiling an

characters and villains from all eras, while also providing
reviews of both the brand new comics coming out and the
comics of the 1940s onward. Keep an eye here, as there is
