I am baffled by everyone's affection for the power rangers. To me they were a Voltron knock-off, like go-bots bad.

yea jason david frank tells the story when hes at anime and morphicons. they would switch the cast up every new season and i think its stupid. i loved the zeo season but why change the helmets from dinos to symbols? the season was fantastic but the new costumes looks lame, the only costume i liked from that season was the gold ranger

because of the source material. Sentai changed and they didn't have much to work with anymore.

Not to me, and first doesn't always mean better.... Voltron > MMPR anyday and twice on Sunday

I added some more people to the cast...

Terry Crews - Goldar

He's large, He's muscular, and if he can't do the voice, it can be dubbed. But yeah, Terry Crews.

Robin Williams - Finster

I'd want him in the costume, but if he can't, just his voice would be great for Finster

Seth Rogen and Charlie Day - Squat and Baboo

They're two funny guys who could be in these two funny roles... BAM!
I think that the thing about my cast is that it's realistic and not just 12 superstars in the roles, but definitely a bunch of... kinda stars.... anywhere from A to B-List stars, with a few A+Listers and C-Listers thrown in for good measure.

He could be, but I'd really like the guy in the suit to be the voice as well.

thatll never happen because the chick who played rita in the costume was japanese and a voice actor did the voice for her. same with every one else basicly. here me out though if you listen to goldar in the original shows the voice actor tries to make him sound more deeper when he talks so if you look at rourke i think he can do a amazing job

what's your point? This isn't the show. For a movie, they'd film all-new material

really? That's 100% impossible because Lord Zedd was created for the US. He was also in the original 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Seth Rogen and Robin Williams in the tiniest roles; your budget is gone with how much MORE you would have to pay them to do that.
