Got two sets of 4-foot premium HDMI cords to get the most out of my new 4K player and tv.

So, it's like a cross between a paintball gun and pepper spray? How did you test it?

Its like a paint ball gun but cops and military use these . The pepper are inside balls like a paint ball . Civilians can own since pepper spray is legal in my state. I tested it in the alley. Supposedly it deeters wild life so hoping to get rid of rats in alley by Dumpster. It Came with to magazines each take 6 pepper balls. It has zero kick. Id recommend it if people dont feel safe with a real gun. I got it for the apartment strictly home defense. Im not sure in terms of conceal carry so ill have to ask the cops to be sure . From what i understand you can use rubber bullets in these depending on if your state allows rubber bullets for civilian use. As long as the projectiles are for 68 cal they should work with the gun. It takes 8 oz co2 . You can get 12 shots in before changing the co2 cartridge. Also pepper ball ammunition can ve used in regular paintball guns .

Got the last set of used DVDs I wanted from my LCS in my regular visit today (I actually passed on just as many that looked scuffed or scratched):

Family and I hit up a antique mall in south Jersey. Was particularly happy to find a pretty much complete MotU Attak Trak (just missing a couple stickers, but the mechanism still runs):

I have one of those book and record sets for Star Trek. Never listened to it, though, as I have no record player.

(The included comic is amusing because, aside from the big three of Kirk, Spock, and McCoy, it was clear that the artist wasn't even trying to make any of the other characters match their on-screen counterparts. Sulu was a Black man, Uhura was a blonde. Seriously.)

Ha. That's funny. I love that kind of stuff. Yeah, I might have picked this up anyway even if I didn't have a 3-speed record player hooked up to my stereo ... but I do (as the 45s probably gave away).

Kevlar gloves and sleeves for work. A person can change there gender with a full sex change and people have to call said person there preferred gender but tattoos cant be shown. 99.9 percent of jobs do this wich is a shame. Tattoo discrimination is what i say. Aside from that cant really bitch about anything

Don't forget to drink a gallon (serious) of water immediately after the massage. I made this mistake once in Florida. A massage is designed to physically bring all the toxins and bad juju to the surface to release them from your body, but what most massage therapists either don't know or won't tell you is that you got to do the last part of the job by drinking water to flush the crap out of your system.

My first ever massage was 11 years ago in Florida. They did a great job relaxing my body and calming me down. However, as soon as I jumped in the car to go to work, I started to immediately get bitchy, irritated, mad, possibly hulk-level angry at the rude drivers around me. I did some research and found out out I needed to do the last step.

My last massage was awesome because I brought a gallon jug of water with me and drank it the whole way home. I stayed relaxed and calm for about a week compared to the 10 minutes in FL.

I have a gallon jug ready. Plus im ubering home . My diagnosis officially is spondylosis melonopothy arthritis and conpressed spine from birth. I found all that out in 2016 when 2 discs slipped at a job so blessing in disguise is how i see it. I lifted wrong so my fault. Luckily no surgery Even had they offered i say no. From what the spine specialist told me is sciatica is caused by a underling issue. My brother has sciatica also so i assume its possibly genetic from my moms side because hes my half brother . Same mom different dads

Just at Target and it's actually the second time I've seen it. The only reason I hesitated was that I have 3 JJs in that scale (from Bandai) and a couple little ones. This one is from Playmates and they also have a Godzilla and SpaceGodzilla.

Thumbs up

IIRC, The Abyss was a damn good undersea clone of Aliens. There were a string of underwater-type movies that tried copying the Aliens formula, but none succeeded at the time, however, years later they gained underground popularity. There was one in particular where the hero and heroine made it out alive and a boss lady who was ready to kill them got punched by the hero because he figured out what she was up to. I always laugh at that scene.

Anywho, my contribution to this awesome thread:

The same day (actually right next door in Columbus, NJ) I got this haul of movies from the flea market. The total day's haul of movies was 2 BDs and 22 DVDs. 4 allowed me to upgrade from VHS (which is good because right this minute I don't have a working VCR).

The Abyss isn't horror, though (unlike say Deepstar Six; Leviathan; and Deep Rising). It was a good (not amazing) find for $2 and upgrades from my VHS copy. James Cameron reportedly has HD masters for both The Abyss and True Lies but neither have hit blu-ray yet because he says he's too busy making all those Avatar sequels to possibly find the time to serve his older fans.

And the toy haul from the same flea market (which I had not been to for years):

Yep. Good eye. I still need to get the Dominion cut and your favorite (#2) to complete the movie series.
