The point of this Forum Section

Some members are a little iffy on what should go in the Games & Humor forum section so.

Trivial games like "the person above you game" should be placed in this forum.

Humor of all kinds also belongs here, like the "Superman has a problem with kinky sex" thread.

What does not belong here would be things like video games, board games. Or humor coming directly out of comic books or discussion of books.

Boardgames and the like would go in the Action Figure and Toys section as could video games, though those could also be posted in the General Forum Section.

also any posts in this Forum Section do not count towards your post count.

Hope that helps!

  • Random Facts

OK, this is a game I saw on my old site and it worked well there, now flet's see if it works here

This thread is where you can post all those random facts you hear about everyday. There is to be none of that Random Facts About Vin Diesel stuff, It has its own website. The Rules are:

1.Every Reply must have a Random Fact e.g. "Oh my god that is so Weird! Did you know that the Soviet Union's reason for invading Afghanistan was to acquire a port in the Indian occean for the USSR Navy. Surprising as Afghanistan is a landlocked nation."

2.If the validity of a fact is being challenged, then either side must produce sufficient evidence and the source of the evidence to prove their case.

    I'll start

Rutherford B Hayes is the only US President to've been elected while loosing the popular vote

The accuracy of the Great Pyramid at Giza is so phenomenal that the four sides of the base have an average error of only 58 millimeters. All completed without the benefit of modern tools, equipment and architecture.

He's one of four to have done so. Dubya was the most recent to.

"There have been four cases of this happening thus far. In 1824, John Quincy Adams was awarded the presidency by the House of Representatives, despite not having won the popular vote or the electoral college vote (neither he nor opponent Andrew Jackson had an electoral college majority). In 1876, Rutherford B. Hayes became President despite losing the popular vote to Samuel J. Tilden, because Hayes had a one vote advantage in the electoral college. In 1888, in a much more clear-cut example of a candidate losing the popular vote but winning the electoral college vote, Benjamin Harrison was elected President over Grover Cleveland. Finally, in 2000, George W. Bush became president after losing the popular vote to Al Gore, but winning the electoral vote."

I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.
