This is a pretty cool idea!

Hmm, I think I'd have to choose life without TV. These days I just can't get enough of my music, I could see myself live without TV though. I spend most of the day on the laptop anyway.

Hard one but I'll go with living without TV. Music is meant to be played forever. TV shows, even your favorites, can be quickly discarded.

Assuming I can still watch movies (even if it has to be on my iPad or computer), that's a simple one. I'd drop TV in a heartbeat. As it is, I don't have cable in my room and I only watch two shows, one of which (The Simpsons) I watch weeks later on Hulu. If that and Doctor Who were cancelled tomorrow, I'd gladly give up TV altogether. But I love listening to music (almost always while I'm doing stuff).

I would pick TV. Music has been a massive part of my life since I was a kid, and is one of the things that stops me from listening to the voices, and succumbing to the darkness of Depression(even though it sometimes doesn't work). The only thing that would make me hesitate choosing to live without TV is being unable to Watch Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. As long I can watch them somehow(Probably on my Laptop), then I'll be sorted.

I would say music but there is music on TV shows.

Wow. I have a feeling I'd be more likely to get the bar of soap down.

                  I feel the same.

                      Day 1:

I'd rather live without music than TV if we aren't assuming that all the music included in TV (and movies) suddenly disappeared as well. I don't really ever listen to music just for the heck of it, but I certainly appreciate what it adds to other media.

If music just totally disappeared from my life if I chose living without music, I'd probably choose living without TV.

                      Day 2:

I'd choose the bar of soap since it seems like less volume, and easier to get down without tasting it much. Especially if I got to choose one of those bars they give you in the hotel bathrooms...

I really don't think it's supposed to be taken as music disappears entirely, but just that you give up listening to it (like no MP3s, records, etc for you).

In that case it is an easy choice. Truthfully, I could probably give up both fairly easily, but I DO still watch a few shows (especially old shows that I check out from the library- and I need my TV to watch movies, as well), and I never pop in a CD to listen to.

I could live without music. I spend most of my day listening to sports radio, podcasts and watching TV at the end of the day. The only time I really listen to music is when I drive.

That would be the hardest part for me--if it meant I couldn't watch even old shows like the original Star Trek. I could live without keeping up to date on the two shows I watch that air now (in fact one of them is often a chore to watch, but I'm too much of a fan to give up on), but I'd hate to give up the oldies. That would bother me, but the thought of never listening to Beethoven's Ninth or the Beatles' White Album would be absolutely devastating.
