Favorite Superhero Sidekick



I have a real disdain for most teen sidekicks. At least non powered ones. Taking away all of the Robins, Buckys, Speedy's etc, leaves me with only a few options. The only one I ever thought made sense and worked was Kid Flash. This kid who idolizes you ends up with super powers, making it your responsibility to train him and steer him in the right direction. Which Barry did. Wally is my pick.

Day 15: Favorite Superpower

It might be simplistic, but the ability to soar above it all has been something I dreamed of since I saw Chris Reeve do it.



If I had to be practical, I'd choose super speed or (Firestorm's) transmutation. The ability to transform inorganic material, even air, into anything else is boss.

If it counts as a power, I still pick a power ring. But of traditional super powers, as a handicapped guy, I'd want Wolverine-like healing.

I'm saving my precious power ring for another category, being a tool and not an internal power. That said, my first choice if the power to fly. If I could have only ONE power, it would be to fly, preferably at any speed I want so I can get around the planet and not be outrun by anyone chasing me down when they see a flying human.

Day 17 - Most Epic Fight Scene Ever

Definitely a lot to choose from. Some of my favorite moments in comics are the giant battles with high stakes. I guess I'll go with the climax of one of my favorite runs. Grant Morrison's time on JLA was/is special to me and it was the perfect balance of high stakes and character. The World War 3 arc of the series featured damn near every hero in the universe doing their part to save it. Everyone seemed to matter.
