What's a collectible? The most fun comic book stuff I've got is probably LEGO superhero sets, my son's DC superhero Imaginext stuff, and my set of various plastic rings that I got from my LCS. I've got a GL T-shirt, too, and a Batman one, and a couple JL ones. I'm not sure I see any of that stuff as primarily collectibles, but then I've never really been into collecting things that weren't primarily for me (or my kids) to actually use.

August 13 – Top Five animated films or TV shows based on a comic book

1. Batman the Animated Series
2. X-Men (1990s)
3. The Incredibles (based off the Fantastic Four and many say best F4 movie ever made)
4. Spawn (HBO series)
5. Superman/Batman Apocalypse

August 14 – If you were to write a super hero comic book, would it be a solo hero or a team book?

I would like to write a team book because the X-Men are my favorite comic book series and I like the team dynamics.

August 15 – Your Top Five favorite comic book related collectibles (i.e. toys, posters, DVDs, mugs, T-shirts, lunch box, autograph, etc.)

5. The Dark Knight Returns trade paperback. One of the few comics I still own from when I was a kid.

Like Space Cop, I have to give an honorable mention to the Challenge of the Superfriends as well. The show is initially what got me into comics.

Solo. Character development and relationships are difficult to establish and take too long in team books.

I took Primus to mean "merchandise" and not just something that is strictly collected. Heck, even Previews now lists any licensed merchandise stuff as "collectibles."

August 16 – When or if you go to the theater to watch a movie based on a superhero, do you wear a t-shirt, hat, etc of said character? (Ya know, like sports fans do when they go to a sporting event, whether it be a jersey, hat, etc.)

If I'm really excited, I probably do. I wore a GL shirt to the Captain America: Civil War screening and got called out by Disney reps.

Rarely. I don't wear short sleeves in public, so if I wear any of my few comic Tees* out, I'd put a long-sleeve underneath. That's not a great choice in the summer (when many of these movies premier). I probably did that for the first time (opening) I saw GL.

*I think have 5 comic-related shirts, 4 of which are GL related. I have a few baseball caps left (and one of them IS Batman), but I always wear real hats, so they just sit in my closet.

I'll often wear a comic-related T-shirt when I go to see a comic movie, but given that my selection is limited to one GL shirt, one Batman shirt, and two Justice League shirts, it doesn't often match the character featured...

Yeah, that's what I meant. Any kind of merchandise really.

Yeah, I'll typically wear a t-shirt of the a character featured in the film. For Suicide Squad I wore a Harley Quinn t-shirt.

All I wear on the weekends are sports and comic character jerseys, so yeah, I'll wear something related to the movie if I have it. Usually, random people come up to me to tell me what I'm wearing is cool and my wife gets annoyed by it. That makes me chuckle. I don't like polo shirts and don't wear t-shirts too often.

I have 24 long boxes and 1 short (see the pic in last month's challenge). My stepdad converted a closet in my den to shelving that perfectly holds long boxes (they're about three inches longer than a box). Short boxes would just end up being front to back and that's a hassle. As it currently stands, I do not have to move any box to get to any box. The only ones that present even a little hassle are Marvel issues or trades, which I need a stepladder to get to, but I did that on purpose since those are the least used boxes.

Short box. I had to transfer all of my comics from long to short boxes because the long boxes all started caving towards the center. In addition, short boxes are more easily stackable.
