Before we held Marvel and a DC comic adaptation drafts seperately. NO MORE! Choose any comic publisher you'd like. From DC to Dark Horse, from Marvel to Boom!, your choices are vast.
RULES
1. We will be drafting for actors, directors and story arcs. You must draft at least one of the following:
- A Protagonist
- An Antagonist
- A love interest
- A supporting character
- A director or showrunner
- A story arc/issue
2. The actors and directors must be alive and you must draft the actor's current age. Therefore, you cannot draft Heath Ledger or Lynda Carter when she was 20.
3. There will be SIX Rounds of drafting in a snaking format.
4. You do not have to draft super heroes. Meaning Archie is an acceptable choice.
5. When it is your turn to pick, you will have 2 hours to make your selection or you will forfeit your turn. So, I highly recommend you PM me your selections before it's your turn.
6. We'll conduct at least two rounds of drafting a day, permitting available picks.
7. Drafting will commence between the hours of 9:30am and 9:00 PT, between Monday and Friday.
8. Once the drafting rounds are completed, I will open up the rosters to the lightning round, where you can drop or add as many positions on your roster as long as you fit the minimum 6 requirements. The voters will decide if any additional selections help or hurts your team.
9. DEPENDENT on the amount of participants, will determine the competition format. Meaning, if we have 8 or 16 participants we can go directly to a bracket style competition. However, depending on the amount of participants, we may have a Round 1 Battle Royale to bracket determine seeding.
10. There must be a minimum of 8 participants before we can begin this draft.
11. If you are interested in participating, please post as much in this thread.
12. Remember, you are drafting a comic book movie or tv show. That includes miniseries or animation.
13. Once an actor has been drafted, you cannot draft the same actor. You can draft the same character, but not the same story arc. So for example, you can draft Wolverine, but if some else drafts Wolverine:Origin or Old Man Logan, you cannot draft those story arcs.
14. You cannot draft your story arc until the 4th Round.
15. I'll allow the character the actor is drafted to play a secret until the story arc is reveal. So, for example, if you draft Ryan Reynolds to play Deadpool, you can draft Ryan Reynolds and keep it a secret as to the character he was drafted to play. That is your option. The guessing game of these drafts has always been part of the process.
16. Drafting order will be done via Random.org with video proof.
