Although Marvel Boy is well cast, I must go with Green Hornet. For a start, this Green hornet is very interesting and I loathe Joss Wheedon. He's too cheesy.

Somehow I trust Joss Whedon to bring the best out of this group even though there are probably a lot better fits out there for YA. Though I admit that I didn't draft Teen Titans because casting younger actors is hard and a risk that no one will know those actors.

I think both teams are very well casted, and I believe each director fits perfectly with each movie. What it came down to for me is that I'd just much rather see a YA movie than a Green Hornet flick.

Yeah that was my biggest worry honestly. I went with Josh because I know he can handle witty banter and teen-aged characters because of Buffy and because of Avengers I know he can handle the superhero aspects as well. My other potential choice was the guy who directed Sky High

From my experiences with Joss, the characters will probably seem two dimensional and their dialogue will probably resemble something from a children's kids show from the early 90s.

I looked up Young Avengers in Wikipedia, since I'm not familiar with it, and the description there makes it sound too soap opera-ish for my usual tastes, though the casting seems good. I'll let A-Train explain his vision for it before I decide, but right now I'm leaning toward Green Hornet.

If I may... why was Prodigy neglected? As I recall, there wasn't a limit placed on the number of additional characters we could cast. Just curious...

Well did you want him to start casting everyone involved? Leah, all of Marvel Boy's exes, Quicksilver, Billy's parents...

Look, my vote was determined the moment I made it to this round. I'm asking out of genuine curiosity, as a fan of the series. Prodigy becomes a part of the team through the story and it just feels kinda weird excluding him when the opportunity was there to cast him.

Either way, my vote is cast, but I am just asking.

Well Fearless, I just plain don't like Black people.

In all seriousness though it was a mix of I almost kinda forgot about him and I felt he was more of a special guest star type as he came into the picture a bit further down the road. He becomes more of a core team member towards the end. If I did cast him I would probably have gone with Michael B. Jordan.

Your right. Buffy, Firefly, Dollhouse and Avengers were all just like that.

I see this as a 12 episode miniseries in 3 acts:

                        Style > Substance
"As a figure from Loki’s past emerges, Wiccan makes a horrible mistake that comes back to bite everyone on their communal posteriors. Fight scenes! Fake IDs! Plentiful feels! (a.k.a. “meaningful emotional character beats” for people who aren’t on Tumblr.) Young Avengers is as NOW! as the air in your lungs and twice as vital. Hyperbole is the BEST! THING! EVER!"
                        Alternate Culture
"The Young Avengers race desperately across the multiverse in pursuit of their missing friend, but their road trip goes crazy as it reaches its destination. Because its destination is mainly excitement and heartbreak. Several Young Avengers decide what to do next — the question is, whether they decide to stay Young Avengers!"
Mic-Drop at the Edge of Time and Space
"They say you can never go home. For the Young Avengers, that’s not true. They can go home — it’s just that if they do, the universe may end. The team takes on the gig to save reality, but is Kate Bishop an enemy in waiting? Will Noh-Varr get an arrow through the head? And is this the end of the loveable/strangle-able Kid Loki?"
